hes trash

Used to be we gave players a couple years before they got the bust/jag label.

Flo predicted that he would be an impact corner. I'm willing to wait (although, at this point, I have no choice cause its not like we have a lot of options right now).

Full court press on Hanks Jr and DJ. They have got to be seeing the gaping holes that they can fill as FR.

I think next years safeties with Stubbs will be better also have to land Ben and DJ but doubt it. Their relationships seem tight with UF and LSU staff.

We’re definitely going to see our 2025 commits on the field a lot next season. Stubbs and Slimeto leading the pack.

But we also need to be hyperactive in the portal. Need to be 2 deep across the backfield and right now aren’t even half a side deep. So I want to see a full 5 very-good-to-great starters being brought in, even someone to take OK’s spot. Dead serious. With Cam gone, the rest of our team needs to get much better to have a shot at the playoffs.

Yeah usually we overrate our players but this year I think we overrated our depth everywhere except the secondary. Bain goes down. Big difference. Lose rivers. Huge difference. Now those are all conf guys. But man losing damari is big time it seems
With Jalen I'd agree to an extent. I'd say its far more evident when you combine that with Rodriguez. With Reuben we had a good amount of others all getting knicked up at the same time before we really saw a big difference. Now Demari on the other hand, completely changed the trajectory of the secondary. What's sucked is that none of the youngins (other than oj) has been able to contribute in secondary at all. We really were hoping zaquan could mesh by this point so we could put Meesh in nickel. Hope we can keep the youth together on the team

I mentioned it before but last year Guidry stated in interview he does not like to rotate his safeties and thru last year and this season unless its a injury issue or game is blow out that has held true. Hard for young guys to develop cuz he says his starters will play majority of snaps
Seems so.

Being as Rivers was supposedly a game time decision yesterday I’m hoping he’s back for Louisville…When is Demari expected back or is he

Guys - in truth - we’re not that bad at DB - if guys just play assignment based football and let the plays come to them within the structure of the defense instead of always trying to MAKE PLAYS, we’d be fine.

In the Cal game, poor pursuit angles by the LBs and DBs are the reason the big plays were given up - which were primarily catch & run plays.

Once the DBs and LBs settled the heck down and stopped trying to the SuperMan out there, we were able to give the offense a chance to win the game.

damari brown is guaranteed ... everything else in the air
Hill also. Richard too. Outside of that I’m with you. We need Patterson to develop because our safeties play slow sometimes. BUT the most important position we have to address this offseason is QB. Chances of that guy being Cam Ward are slim. But we need to find one. With our schedule next year we cannot play a true freshman. Emory Williams has game, but the ability to have a kid who is a duel threat is key.

It was always a reach to say he would be an impact corner. He was always a raw athlete with a high boom or bust possibility.
