Sorry i can't defend our record the last two decades versus anyone. We had 1 10 win season where we won like 5 games by 3 pts (but we won them). But even fsu, when most of the kids we are recruiting were like 10 they strung togehter 5-6 straight ten win seasons. We need to win some ******* games. We have been **** for 2 decades.....theres no defending that.

Saying that other teams have also underperformed isn't defending us.

Agreed. I can see why some players don’t come cause of how Miami has sucked but he admits he is a hurricanes fan, wants to play immediately, mom wants him here, sees Kam is home grown and now an All-American then says nahhhhhh I don’t want anything to do with that program. Really really strange

Its hard to blame him or other top players depending on the difference in pay. I know we like highly rated players and think they all will be good but in reality a good bit don't live up to their ratings. Gurvan Hall, Keontra Smith and we will see about James Williams. Smart thing is to take the guaranteed money no telling if you will see another big pay day.

It would be a failure, but too early to say it’s definite. Plenty of time for Miami to assess the potential ramifications that can come from a commitment to an in-state rival with a far superior class to us, no matter what the reason for that disparity is.

I think it's amazing what Cristobal has done as far as recruiting is concerned since he's been here.. Some of you are totally delusional to say the least. The University of Miami football program has been on a decline for 20 years give or take a couple of seasons. The stadium is almost always half filled, we have become a bottom to mid level ACC team, there has been a coaching carousel for past 15 years, haven't had a signature win since the ND game 6 years ago, and we had in my opinion the worst season in the 41 years since I've been a fan. Until we start winning football games on the field this malaise will continue. KIDS WANT TO PLAY WITH WINNERS TOO. Yes, I agree the money is very important but winning and cash is the formula for success.
