Addae is by far the weakest link on this staff. But I don't think DVD would have been any better.

We need to bring in a STUD that has either produced talent at the highest level or played at the highest level himself.

There has got to be a Jason Taylor type for DB's living in Miami...

Turning down Corey Raymond because we had T-Rob was the biggest miss of our first coaching staff... after Gattis of course.
DVD was the second best recruiter behind Mario , Zaquan would of been a lock if dvd was still here

With all these kids getting up front money i‘m intrigued to see if there’s more flips this go round than normal years.
I'd rather be the best offer in December than August... I'd much rather be the best offer in December coming off a great year, than the highest offer in August coming off a **** season...
Like Al Davis says, Just Win Baby

Gaby and Lake got a little pushback on their comments regarding Patterson and Miami. The interview he gave ON3 was brought up. Gaby posted the following to clarify what they are saying:

"I don't think we're saying that Miami and Patterson don't have a great relationship I just feel like he hasn't ever spent that extended time around the program the way he has with others. I feel like most times he's been around has been late morning or afternoon arrivals and in and out in a few hours, spread out across the year. Miami didn't get an official visit or even a back-to-back unofficial visit where Patterson watched practice, film with the team prior, after, etc. the way others have. I think that's our main overall point. I do believe he likes Miami a lot and he has good relationships with people down here."
maybe thats a good thing since the kids that do that end up elsewhere

Sorry if someone already explained this, but why would he be giving his verbal to FSU if he is ultimately planning on signing with UM? It's just a money grab? Seems to me if a kid takes under the table money, it's going to be really hard to flip him later as the bag school can use that as leverage.
It’s a money grab up front. There’s no leverage later for the school after an illegal payment. The school has plenty to fear if their boosters’ bags were revealed. I think it’s harder to flip a kid committed elsewhere in general.

Don’t know if he was 2nd best but I think he did have a great relationship with zaquan

People here won’t even spend the money for Premium at $2 a month talking about “WRITE THE CHECK” 😂

Frustrated World Cup GIF

Im not buying the high school is forcing early commitment ****, I remember edwin joseph last year didn’t commit until after they season. I think if zaquan wanted to wait he would
Last year and this year are apples and oranges for many programs as far as their strategy.

Annoying as **** that we finally have NIL to match most of the big boys but the combination of the State of FL NIL rules and these up front bag payments are wrecking the somewhat leveled playing field.
It's not hurting the two crap schools up north from us.

This looks like it’s going to be an ugly, ugly whiff.

How can this kid see what Kam and Williams are doing here and think FSU is a better fit?

I guess the NIL game really has passed us by.

Agreed. I can see why some players don’t come cause of how Miami has sucked but he admits he is a hurricanes fan, wants to play immediately, mom wants him here, sees Kam is home grown and now an All-American then says nahhhhhh I don’t want anything to do with that program. Really really strange
