The truth lies somewhere in the middle. I’ve heard they’re has been visits that happened without public knowledge but we shall see.

We know Mom is all about the Canes so we shall see come December. I’m not worried about a “forced” commitment right now.

Was also the weakest at UGA. My UGA friend was happy to see him go. Thought he was a lazy recruiter,

not my preferred DB coach choice, but he asked for another JT. But both got local ties coaching at HS powerhouses in the area, known down in Miami and just fit what came to mind as the DB version of Jason Taylor.

Personally, Addae's coaching hasn't had me ready to push him out yet, but recruiting is what leaves much to be desired. If it was up to me, go save this man in Gainesville:

Last year our pass defense was atrocious and we had 2 CBs get drafted and one safety make all-American.

To me that means we had the talent to have a much stronger unit and the coaching wasn’t there. But idk maybe I have too high expectations

100% when the busts were mostly mental mistakes. I do think our weak LBers played a big role as the DBs had to help a ton on run plays and didn’t get as much support on slants. Add in additional pressure LBers can bring to speed up the throws from QBs.

I’m giving him another year but if we have busts and bad DB play, it is 100% on coach.

I don’t have a good feeling on Saturday. Idk, this entire cycle seems like kids are interested but there’s a missing piece. My hypothesis is that it’s up front money we’re refusing to engage in.

0-2 this weekend and I’d love to see some of you continue to defend this. I pray we get the mini sweep, but there’s something in the back of my head telling me we’re in for a rude awakening. Patterson should be a layup. Stone should be relatively feasible if we’re offering an insane NIL and have a gigantic hole at DL the size of Lizzo. Question is…are we doing what other programs are willing to do in order to land the best of the best?

If we aren’t, we’ll find out Saturday.

This seems like the same thing that happened with Franklin where all the talk was about Auburn taking him from Miami when Ole Miss was the home team pick the entire time.

Nothing is certain in recruiting obviously, things change by the hour…but if there’s cause for concern…we should do everything in order to ensure our best players stick.

Contrary to belief on here, there are indeed repercussions from consistently whiffing at particular positions. Even before December.
