Do the last 10-15 years. Still more relevant than we’ve been but the gator has been slowly slipping towards irrelevance. Unfortunately their recruiting right now, if it holds, will make a big difference.

Sure, we need dudes…. But if those dudes aren’t playing as one unit, would it even matter? Likely not…

Mario had a ****storm to clean up… as he’s **** near done at this point with regards to our roster turnover and attitudes.

One way to **** it all up? Pay unproven (at the college level…after all, these are still high school kids) players who could walk into said locker room next year and fall flat, or come in with a holier than thou attitude, or a poor, lazy work ethic because they’re being paid. Paid more than current players on the roster who’ve actually bought in and bled/sweat on greentree.

I can’t imagine how I would have treated an incoming freshman being paid more than me on a squad I played on.. particularly if I thought I was better (these are kids, and that’ll likely be the thought process unless they are the rare unicorn like Mauigoa - few and far between). Thus… a destroyed, cancerous locker room.

Using that as my baseline…. I can’t wait to see the implosions at a school like fsu and certainly uf when their seasons don’t go like they think they will. If you aren’t going 11-1, 12-0 doing the **** they’re doing, the likely outcome is a downturn in culture. And we know how that looks/goes…

Lol not to completely discount everything you said, but this is what every gator fan was saying last year while we were kicking their teeth in in recruiting

Listen man… you (Noles) are doing things with bags up front that I wish we had an answer for. Hopefully for us, we work it out.

Do you (Noles) really think Norvell… and Napier for that matter are all of a sudden recruiting savants who had lightbulbs go on?

We know what’s going on. Sadly for us we have no answer for it. Yet.

Preech. Mario was stuffing Billy and Mikey in lockers all recruiting season long last year. And even after the 5-7 **** show we were the #7 portal destination. The unwritten rules on pay-to-play have changed and we're being outmaneuvered at the moment.

Is there anything trending in our direction or worth believing in? Where's the big splash? Looks like the meteorologists predicted the wave, but it ended up traveling too far north and landed in Gainesville and Tallahassee.

Do something worthwhile mentioning, and the tune can change considerably. But defending this...whatever is going on...is hilariously asinine, but routine for this fanbase. It's the same wheel of coping y'all fall victim to every single time.

Norvell was thought of as being FSU's version of Dan Mullen for crying out loud. I just think that conditions change and that the right coaching staff would have been able to stem the bleeding better on the trail this year. That's literally it.

I get you brother, I checked out the other dudes profile but couldn’t see his porsts only what was in the thread and it didn’t seem egregious. I have no beef with you or anyone I call it like I see it right or wrong and I’m definitely wrong a lot
