Not necessarily position, but the top local kids from NC/VA/SC that would've gone to Clemson, Penn State, SEC etc. are now staying home. 17/18 of their 2021 recruits are from those 3 states and he pulled the only 2020 5 star in VA in Tony Grimes (who was originally 2021 but reclassified).

This years class was smaller but the average grade per player was roughly top 8 in the country and they dominated North Carolina like you said. Last year they got a top 15 class, too. Another top 15 class in 2022 and they’ll start to become a long term legitimate acc threat but the overall talented depth isn’t there, yet.
