You don’t think Manny wants his defense ran? If he brings in someone they run their own D. Panda will run Manny’s. Don’t worry about him learning to call plays because Manny will be standing right next to him

Not a surprise at all. Diaz was clearly frustrated with the Offense all year. Everyone is excited we are getting a new offensive staff. But we are also getting a new ST staff and that was sorely needed as well. Every game it was Manny D keeping us alive despite the crap show on Offense and ST.

How do people come up with these ideas? It amazes me. Our pass coverage was extremely good (as evidenced by the top ranking nationally). Rumph may need to recruit harder & better but he is definitely doing a great job coaching up the guys he has. Some of the stuff people post on here is astonishing.

Well we just had a guy accept a job at Temple, told recruits how thankful he was to have them , knocked introductory presser out of the park. Dropping everyone’s panties in Philly to the floor. Then proceeded to tell them all “to go **** their own face , my dream job is open”.

Comes back home and has a sit down with all his former staff members , men he’s had bible studies with, went to battle with and fought with for three years. Literally spent thousands of hours with these men. Looks them in the eyes and rips their hearts out and takes a bite out of it as their dead bodies hit the floor.

And as if that wasn’t enough , we hear his top choice for oc is a former competitor, that our staff loathed. From the head man down, but he gives zero *****. He wants a killer as an oc , a trained assassin. Their past issues has no say in this , he wants the best.

Diaz doesn’t want to ***** his one opportunity at his dream job up.

What I’m saying is..... I’m all in.

I finally see my savage , a man who knows what Miami wants and needs. This isn’t a friends business , this is a “ what have you done for me lately” business.

I said I’d wait to see what he does with the hiring , and firings before I judged this hire. And now I’m pretty **** sure the lazy hire might have been the right hire.

Great post. All fire and brimstone. Now if little Manny is half the man you paint we just have to see if he can pick and get a staff like Butch, evaluate talent like Butch, close like Butch, develop players like Butch, and keep player out of trouble like Butch. If so, we might have a decent coach. I’m full of too much kool aid from the last two turds, so I’m going to wait for the NC.

Good first day. Logical firings were made that had to be made. Nothing more, nothing less.

I like Manny's passion and energy, but until I see what the final staff looks like (especially OC) and the signed 2019 class, I can't get too excited. Hopefully the staff is full of aces before the dead period ends in about a week.
