They still have to process the paperwork. Can’t hold him hostage lol

Miami might have to pay a fine, go on probation, maybe a light recruiting sanction like taking away a week of evaluation period or on campus visits, and someone is getting penalized.

The only examples of this have been $5k fines and the HC missing a game. But the HC committed the violation. Not sure Mario missing a game from the sideline is a violation or a tampering reward.

I’ll take Lucas for Mario missing the ND game in a ****** heartbeat

How many games can we get an HC suspended and who can we get for it?
Mario would be the kind of dude to be like “nah, they need me on the sideline vs Bethune more than we need this very good DB with 3 years of eligibility”

They folded up too easily on Andre Sam from Tulane for the same reason

Lucas already has connections to the area, the program, and players on the team. Being able to claim, much less prove, tampering is **** near impossible.

I believe the player can also be blocked from enrolling at the tampering school… but how do they investigate, and what’s the timeframe?

Lulz at the last part… plus they would need real evidence to prove tampering. One advantage we have is we are located where kids like Lucas came from. He has family down here, and friends who attend school down in Miami. This isn’t like Bama tampering on a kid from Texas that played at PSU. There are so many angles of plausible deniability.
Isn’t Miami a school full of lawyers 🤷‍♂️
