Link, all those places have upperclassmen & depth across the board. Not sure about Utah St's DC.. Think they are benefiting from the young stud staff that just left this past year.

I'm not arguing that Al Groh is worse...I'm arguing that Al Groh is the same

Nothing will improve. GT was a carbon copy of our D and they made a MASSIVE upgrade by canning Groh.
I talked to a few guys on GTs D. They were having all the same problems that have been rehashed ad nauseam on this board. MEs, Thinking too much, Playing too slow, not being aggressive.

I've made it clear I'm not suggesting this.. I'm just inferring that this is the direction AG would go if he ends up parting ways with Coach D after the season.

Not sure where to go for a new coach. whats crazy is that if you think about it in the new style of football it really is kind of bend but dont break. all the rules geared to get more scoring. even in the sec where its all about defense most of their games are even in the 20 + point range for both teams.
