Worse recruiting experience

Preston Parker didn't hurt as much as it made me angry at him being an idiot. Didn't he ****in flip a coin or something when he woke up on signing day?

preston parker flat out didnt want to cut his dreads.....lol..kid is in the nfl now....but didnt have athe college career expected.

Yeah, according to an insider, he was coming and then was basically pressured into going to BC. Remember how we were told to "look at how stressed he looked during his announcement" and to use that as proof that he was forced to sign with BC.

He was pressured, but I also remember reading that he loved the school, loved the coaches, but felt that it was a bit too urban for him. That was the story, anyway.

The Craig Davis, Landry, Pittman, et al reminds me of the year of the Ohio contingent nearly committing to us - Fred Davis, Ginn, et al.

You guys don't remember the year we lost Eric Metcalf to Texas at the last minute (probably money) and the Illinois kids, Frank Hartley and a couple of others. Hubbard Alexander had them wrapped up but Bob Karmelowicz stole them for Illinois. There have been so many like this over the years--Sterling Palmer comes to mind. Often enough, these kids didn't do that much where they went. Good example is Antone Smith. i remember reading on the internet that the Hecht Center was on meltdown the morning of NSD.

Pat Devlin, left us scrambling to land a QB. Bryce Brown sucked too. Martellus Bennett switch also was terrible.

Yeah, but we throught we made up for losing Bennett by getting Dajleon Farr instead, the other big name TE that year. In fact, I remember hearing that our staff thought we got the "better kid."

So much for early impressions. Farr was a bust. Bennett is in the NFL. Farr did a spend a bit of time in the NFL after transferring out to Memphis. It is safe to say we got the worse end of that swap. Who was to know?

I still contend it was pretty obvious thomas wasnt coming here. His mid week visit was pretty **** obvious that he simply wasnt that interested in the canes. But what sealed it was when he said he could see himself playing with miami guys at fsu. Its just that everyone was ignoring what he was saying cause he was throwing up the U every now and then.

Not to say he isnt a ****** who trolled when he didnt have to.

Weather it was obvious or not we can't see the future. even recruiting site had ous pen to land Matthew.this kid is terrible for what he did to golden and the coaches.they show him alot of love they was at his game and all it was heartless what he did.

Plus 100. The only time that I saw a lost recruit with less class was Bryant McFadden an FSU commit who led Miami into thinking he was in play so they gave him an official visit. He spent the whole weekend recruiting kids to FSU. As I recall we beat them evry year he was there.

Bakas was all over that one. He loved Bennett.

I still harken back to big, bad Matty Patchan. Legacy, trash talks current players in lockerrom visit, rats us out to NCAA on Lil Nevin business and - in clear proof there is a God - suffers a litany of off-field issues and proves unable to play a lick while bombing out with the Gators. Karma is a beautiful thing.

He got Teabag killed in that game against Kentucky. He didn't even re-direct that guy..just let him loose and got Tebow's clock cleaned.

Someone on here used to have the gif
