Longest recruiting board threads on an individual recruit: Jerry Jeudy, Anthony McFarland, Josh Jobe, Alex Collins, Tyson Campbell (twice), Brian Edwards & CJ Henderson combined thread, Sony, Pat Surtain Jr., Lo Lingard, Denver Kirkland, Johnnie Dixon, CJ Henderson, Johnnie Dixon again

Y'all seeing a pattern here? The power of CIS is undeniable.

/5-star ambassador is the outlier

Did we really have long threads on Dixon? At least compared to the others?

I honestly don't remember posting much about him.

If you're posting from a computer at the top of the forum where it's green and has the headings for all the columns you can click on 'replies' to filter the threads on the recruiting board and see the longest threads. Gator Tears and Nole Tears are both already top 4, but when it comes to the recruitment of players the longest threads are always on players that end up spurning us.

Disagree, but to each his own. He is a must get like Cook or Patrick Peterson or Matthew Thomas or Valentine were. None of those guys would've put us over (Valentine didn't even play). Made us better? Sure. But how many ships did they win for LSU or FSU?

TC is probably the best DB prospect in over a decade down here. I don't think anyone is in his class. But I like out haul with or without him.

First of all Cook was instrumental in FSUs title run. Second of all you are missing the point in giving individual examples and correctly stating that no one player will make or break us. What you miss is what Campbell represents. Tyson Campbell is much more than a gifted CB/S prospect. Getting Campbell would signify our ability to sign elite talent. I understand that players like Frierson, Hall, Lingard and Pope are also elite talents but all of them have been committed for a long time. Campbell and Surtain as well are representative of elite potentially program changing recruits that have been seriously considering other schools. We need to be able to consistently win these types of battles.

This is all true.

I’m pretty sure FSU won the national title prior to Dalvin Cook and D Cook was instrumental in them not repeating when he fumbled against Oregon in the Rose Bowl. But every thing else was spot on.

Nope. Cook played a significant role in FSUs title year. I could argue that without him FSU doesn't win the natty.

And this is why I shouldn't drink. Was thinking of Freeman but named Cook. My apologies!

Arkansas's foundation gave the school $150 million to refurbish the stadium.

You have the Walton's, Tyson's and Hunt's (all billionaire families) funding the Razorback foundation.

UM trustees raised $160 million in a nanosecond for that bio tech building and incubator. A family that never ATTENDED a single UM game decided to fund the IPF or it never gets built. If you want biotech, technology, business, art, music, or stem related buildings or initiatives, MIami can raise the mondey EASILY. If you want something for Athletics...... it takes EONS.

Miami's alumni want a: (1.) Duke; or (2.) Georgia Tech/Emory; type of educational reputation..............

Tell them Stanford says hi.

If this thread gets to 1000 posts, I think Campbell feels the hometown love and commits to Miami.

Some people may want to stay off of here this weekend while he visits UGA. Won't be pretty

Aint that the truth.

After that visit him and PS2 are visiting Bama. Could be a rough 2 weeks for some of you. Miami might not even get a visit at this point.

this is my prediction. he'll visit bammer and will cancel his visit here shortly thereafter.

Or give us the lazy *** curtesy mid-week visit. This thing is a wrap and the sooner you all accept it, the better off you will be.

....and hence the parade of abused self-flagellators commences
