Why I Haven't Loss Faith That Mario Will Have Us In The CFP

I hate to be put in the position of defending Guidry but defense was our strength the year prior. His defense certainly has holes but relax with the exaggerating. Better talent can cover subpar coaching. Jimmy and Joe's over X's and O's.

I'm grateful to have had Cam Ward as our QB but I think we'll be fine without him. Cam was 5-7 at Wazzu.
Again. Having Ward gave D a false since of security.
Zero urgency.

D will be mentally more prepared next year.

Everyone talks about Mario's in game coaching but I'm far more concerned about his out game coaching. He hasn't developed hardly any good players we can depend on in his 3 recruiting classes so far and for Mario to be such a intense and fiery coach his teams don't take on his personality. Too many games we come out flat

20+ years of coaching, I think this is year 19 working in a school in some capacity. Let me tell you that if all you do is yell everyone tunes you the f out. It has to be done rarely to have any impact.

Yelling becomes Charlie Brown teachers to the players. Especially if you can pull the slappy chit George does and always get the nod anyway.

D was out strength a year ago at 7 wins? Lmao. Kinchens regressed under his watch and we are going to by relying on maybe 2 new safeties and at 2 corners. He is on record saying his D takes at least a year for the secondary to learn. This age of football has passed him by. No ******* way you can bring him back.

Respectfully, that's just plain wrong. Did you see the OL he inherited? Most of the starters are his development kids. How about WR, you don't think Beard did a good job with Horton and George? Arroyo was out for nearly two years and looked near elite. Moten has turned into a really good DT, Wes took another big step this season. I won't mention Cici, Bain, Fletcher and OJ because they were pretty good from jump. But that's a lot of good players you can depend on.

Mario built us from the inside out. Our trenches will be the strenght of our team next year. We'll have 5 players returning on the OL who started games for us.

If Mario can get Mesidor to come back, we'll have 3 out of 4 returning starters on the DL.

The key now is to surround them with the adequate pieces that complement that strenght.

Needs based on my assessment of the team:
-QB (One that can add competition to the room and elevate the floor of the room)
- TEx2 (1 in-line and 1 receiving threat)
-RB (Depth)
-LB (preferably one that can play 3 downs)
-Saftey (Free-S)
-CBx2
- DE (Pass rush specialist to for our speed package)
-WR (depth)
- DT (Depth)

best teams have the best tranches thats just a fact
