May I ask what is taking so long on this? Why hasn’t he already been fired yet? We aren’t going to the playoffs and even if we were, I would rather have our linebacker coach run the defense anyways. Why haven’t we let him go yet?

I don’t know the answer to your question but I do know that he’s 100% done and will not be our DC for the 2025 season. Hopefully we get a resolution soon.

All I can think of is they are waiting until tomorrow when it’s official they missed the playoffs. If he’s not gone by Monday then Mario is not a serious coach

I've consistently said that the defense could/should be better.

My arguement has always been that the defense is not exceptionally bad.

I stand by that.

GT is 19th in the P4 in total offense.

Syracuse is 6th.

Yeah on the JT thing, I wondered if he was all in on the defensive decisions and schemes( Mesidor covering a running back, as an example) or was just being a good soldier and keeping quiet and head down. Seems out of character for an intense competitor and HOFer. Just sayin’

JT son was not dressed out for WF and his arm was in a sling. Who knows how long he had been hurt.

I would classify it as average, given that both GT and Syracuse are top 20 in the P4 on offense and on any given day those teams can score enough to beat just about any team in the top 10.
