Why does this keep happening?

I have wondered the same. This team always seems to run out of gas during the final stretch and I have to wonder if it has something to do with the academic schedule or some other aspect of the University Schedule.

It makes no sense because other schools have similar academic schedules. I was wondering whether it was just south Florida kids who let the hype get to them and once they get hit in the mouth they fold.

It’s systemic in that we don’t have the system necessary to hire good head coaches.

The people in charge are absolutely clueless on what it takes to run a program, no matter what they say, no matter how much money they throw at the problem.

So we get head coaches like Mario who can’t coach his way out of a paper bag much less finish strong in November.

And then lastly this website pumps up those losers and holds no one accountable because access to said program is contingent on being the propaganda arm of the school

Not saying Mario is a good coach but his teams went 3-1 in November every year at Oregon. The problem it appears is the university in some capacity which I don’t have the answer to.

Was in need of some web development assistance recently and I interviewed a couple of people for it

Miami throws millions of dollars at their head coaching job and hasn’t conducted an interview for it since Al Golden

What were the records of the teams he faced in November at Oregon? Once you look you will notice a trend there. Most people don't peel back the fat over his Oregon tenure.

You’re trying way too hard to find a problem when it’s obvious. The university itself doesn’t coach the games in November. It’s the morons they keep hiring.

Correction: they throw millions of dollars at their chosen one candidate because he went to their high school and he’s a Miami guy. Bonus points for being Cuban

They don’t throw millions of dollars at anyone else

I knew we were a dead program when we paid the buyout for Diaz

I mean it was always there but that’s when there was no denying it anymore for me

I think it’s the coordinators because under Richt in 2016 and 2017 we went 7-1 in November. Teams actually improved under Richt down the stretch.

Yeah wild as **** bro.

We’ve had two junctures we could have made an impactful hire. When Rick stepped down and when we got rid of Diaz. We saved so much money on Rick’s buyout and then post Diaz we were willing to spend.

Yet neither of those times resulted in a proper coaching search as you astutely pointed out in your previous post.

It’s just sad how this program is run.
