Making the playoff this year would be Coach of the Year territory for Mario, IMO. Cam Ward + a couple of breaks and who knows? I still don't think we're a title contender yet, but a playoff berth coupled with recruiting season could get us there sooner than later.

We have our issues, but it comes down to who scores the most points in a game, and we can score with anyone. Problem is, with our D, every game against anyone with a pulse is 50/50. That includes top teams. No one has shown me they have the D to shut us down. Miami has also not shown me they can limit self harming mistakes.

Bottom line, we have as much chance as anyone to win it all. If it comes down to a shootout, I'm riding with Cam. Force other teams to have to score 50+ to beat us.

To be fair, I don't want to go up against Oregon until the last possible moment. They match up great vs. us.

I’m not so sure about Ohio State “destroying” PSU in Happy Valley. Penn State will probably play competitively. But James Franklin has shown he absolutely doesn’t win these types of games.
 
Lot of Indiana hype. They've beaten:

Charlotte - 103rd in points scored
FIU - 82nd
Western Illinois - FCS

UCLA - 124th
Northwestern 120th
Nebraska - 91st
Maryland - 68th

They don't play Penn St or Oregon and haven't play Ohio State yet. OSU is going to embarrass them.

I HOPE they sneak into the playoff and end up on our side of the bracket.
