Who do you want to win FSU or Auburn?

You guys are clowns! The SEC is dominating us, getting astronomical TV deals, all the great recruits and have been insulting us all the way while doing it. And you guys want to root for them to win another one? Get outta here, I want the gold...give me the gold. FSU winning brings credibility to the ACC, and will make more recruits want to stay in conference, and TV sponsors pay more to advertise during our games. I will be rooting for what will bring our university more money and future success.

The SEC has a larger market so the TV deals are going to happen regardless. I'd rather us win the gold than our long-time rival who has beaten us the last four times; what advantage does that give us towards recruits? They want to go to teams that FSU blew out? Makes sense. Hard for a recruit(s) to stay in conference when FSU is at the top and no one is near their level. FSU is about to play for the NC because they recruited well and have good coaches not because the SEC didn't win the NC the year prior.

You lost me at the SEC has a larger market. You cannot be serious. We have New York City, Boston, Pittsburgh, Baltimore/Washington (for now), Miami, and Atlanta markets. Sorry it's not Fayetteville, Tuscaloosa, Gainesville, and Knoxville markets. What a joke.

FSU is playing for the NC because they're undefeated. If they had one loss they'd be way out, even though they are clearly an elite team. The SEC has had one-loss teams how many times now out of conference respect. IMO Baylor has been more impressive than Auburn this year, but the Big 12 doesn't have the conference respect either. If you haven't heard recruits say "I want to play in the SEC" then you haven't been following recruiting. I want recruits to say they want to play in the ACC, and that starts by us knocking off the SEC in the title game.

I understand the folks who like FSU/ACC but I have to disagree. A win by fsu will really hurt head to head recruiting. We must look out for ourselves. I don't care about ACC SEC ramifications.
now that Buckeyes are out I don't have to deal with idea of a Fsu or scum national championship. Go War dam eagles.... for at least one day.

Tell that to the SEC. No question who Alabama will be rooting for, and the rest of the SEC for that matter. They know that's what brings them the cash. But you guys can keep acting like it doesn't matter.

I don't care who wins the game. Won't be watching. I look at it from a little more aloof perspective then most I guess.

I see FSU winning a National Championship as more of a challenge for the kids and coaches moving forward. That excites me. That is where we want to be. I think it provides more motivation for the kids moving forward. Not that they should need that but it can't hurt.

Will it hurt in recruiting? I think it's marginal. They've already been cleaning up on the recruiting trail anyway. Not sure a Nat. Championship helps them anymore or not.
