We barely beat crap teams like that with a defense loaded with seniors and a senior QB. These guys really expect we are going to do better next year with a new QB, younger defense, and a harder schedule. Blows my mind.

Grateful that Al decided to pledge his allegiance with the U.

Now he can get back to building this program back up the right way.

He does need to change his approach to his coaching and that involves tweeking his defense.

All in all today was a good day.

Not sure I would have faith in this administration to replace Golden with a more proven quality coach.
Above all what this program needs is continuity not more uncertainty that a coaching carousel brings.

WRONG!!! What this program needs more than anything is a new DC as well as a new scheme on that side of the ball.

The D is a clown show. The most inept defense I have ever witnessed here at Miami. If Golden can't cut ties with his friend at the detrimemt of the entire program, that is a serious red flag. Part of being a leader is making obvious changes when they are necessary, even if its something that is difficult to do. There is ZERO excuse for coach D. Was the personnel on that side up to up to Miami standards, no. But, it still should have been better than that. We got gutted all year by a lot of teams that aren't very good on offense. You really see a coaches true colors when **** isn't perfect and you have to adjust and mask deficiences. Coach D has proved, through a pretty decent sample size, that he is incapable of this. He needs to go, like yesterday. If golden ignores this just because its his boy then that shows you he isn't a guy that is going to do what needs to be done to win ships. The clock starts now, if Dorito isn't canned in the coming weeks then we know all we need to know. I would have been happy to have Al skip town to PedoU but he didn't, now he needs to make the right move and axe Dorito. There is no way you can defend him keeping this clown.
