Now I don't have the " facts" because I'm just fan and not an insider. But after 3 days of " they have there guy" " golden to PSU on Monday" and then tenn. Fires there coach who WAS going to be retained. Not even 24 hrs after that golden is "100 percent #istandwiththeU" not to mention OhnoD is coming back for another season, I don't think PSU wanted NoD up there. Now that's just my OPINION! But that's how he lost cred with me, the job didn't like his terms and a new coach came available. Otherwise he was gone.

What stunt? A bunch of non-journalists reported that Golden was taking the PSU job and a bunch of suckers believed it. Just like they believed Gruden was going to be our coach when they hired Golden. What did Al do in the last three days that was so egregious? His defense sucks. Gameday prep sure doesn't seem up to snuff. I respect, and mostly agree with the posters who are unhappy with that. But whining about what's transpired the last three days is just over emotional psychobabble.

Continuity for the sake of continuity is stupid.

This is a performance based industry. The fact that Golden has just been given more security due to this three day hiatus frightens me. And LOL at anyone that thinks D'Onofrio is going anywhere.

these past 3 years, how did the ncaa affect his on the field coaching? The ncaa was the cause of 1-12 against teams with 8+ wins?
