What should be change or add to CanesInSight

I like hood's idea of a Coach's Corner - failing that, it'd be nice to get some kind of planned discussion going specifically aimed at the offseason lull. Every message board becomes well-nigh impossible to read between the Spring Game and fall camp. Maybe get a weekly, well-moderated, football-centered topic going that can be our proverbial "jingling keys" for those few months of ****...

An alternative topic board would be great. A place where posters could discuss things other than UM sports.
 
Avatars that you can click on and blow them up so if somebody has a really hot avatar I can get a better look.

I NEVER post here, just browse, but I visit frequently. And I thought this would be a good thread to add some thoughts.

I really like the recruiting updates but I gotta say, the homophobia exhibited by some posters really turns me off. "******" is thrown around casually and there's just no need for it. What's the purpose? Every thread seems to have a homophobic remark in it. Recruits families read these threads, how do you know some of them aren't ***? But that's secondary to the fact that it's just not necessary to use those kinds of words. I understand this is a message board, but there has to be a line drawn somewhere.

Also, personal attacks directed at recruits should not be tolerated. These are 17 and 18 year old KIDS. Most of you are GROWN MEN. If you really take time out of your day to bash a kid for not picking your school, you need to get a life. Some comments I saw about Alex Collins were sickening. What's wrong with some of you? THEY'RE KIDS.

Other than that, this is my favorite Canes forum. Go Canes.

Ban the words fap, fapping, fapilicious, fapped, faps, fappin', fappin, fap fap fap, fapz, fapit or any other variation of fap. Just ban any words that start with FAP.

Serious question. Do you really think every time the word "******" is used, posters are in fact attacking ***gots? Or is it a term that is not being used in the manner in which you are describing. And would you prefer pheg?

Maybe info about who the primary recruiter is for each recruit on the Big Board.

How about a Board where bad porsters are sent to to serve out a sentence for spewing vomit on the message board?
