What should be change or add to CanesInSight

I see it's been a few months since anyone posted on here but I thought I'd add my two cents. I signed up about a year ago but quickly stopped coming because of all the cussing, criticizing and put downs as well as the soft **** pics that kept popping up. I come to the site at work and at home but it was so bad I didn't want anyone seeing what I was looking at. I popped in every now and then and I'll have to admit it has gotten loads better. At least from what I can tell. Posters are keeping it civil for the most part and seem to be able to carry a conversation without resorting to personal insults. This site has the best format and set up compared to the other sites so it's nice to see it's cleaned up a bit. I do have to keep the avatar button off because of bimbos, butts and *****. Don't need that. There are sites for that and CanesInSight is not the place I come to see it.

If I wanted to ask for anything, it would be nice to have a forum that covers all of the Hurricanes sports. I played tennis all thru high school and college and I am currently the tennis coach at my school, so I love the sport and I always follow both the men's and women's teams. I see that there is the forums for football, and baseball/basketball, but it would be nice to have a forum that covers the "Olympic sports". I do realize that the traffic would be low, but once word gets out that there is a place that offers news for those sports, then maybe some who wouldn't come here would make this their favorite Canes site.

Also, where is the mobile site feature? I thought I saw it before but I don't see it anywhere now? It would be nice to have for my smartphone but I don't see where I can switch over to it. Is it gone?

I have never really followed Canes online much until I found this site. I found the fact that it is free great. Then I noticed that the content is superior to most everything else I see. Between the staff and posters, this has become my primary source. Ok, some stuff from posters is crap but so is mainstream and $$ sites. I do not know enough to suggest improvements. I love the site. Thanks.

Wonderful site and I appreciate everyone's work in keeping it going. Best Canes site on the web.

That said, i do have two thoughts on this:

1 - probably just me but I access this site on an I-Pad and use my right thumb to scroll up. That results in me hitting the reply buttons accidentally many times and it gets annoying. Would it be possible to move them to the center (or have that as an option)?

2- is there a link to an explanation of the rep system? I've looked and couldn't find one. It would be nice to understand the system and how it's supposed to work.

Consistency w/r/t banning. If you're gonna ban super-mopey trolls you need to ban the super fan trolls as well. A lot of the negativity generated in threads is a direct result of ****headed porsters who demand that nothing negative (realistic) be said at any time. So if super mopes get banded, super fans should as well. Their porsts are just as unreadable as the other guys and makes for just as ****** of a board.
