What if Ray Lewis iii had a different last name?

Considering he's said he doesn't have a position and the coaches told him he could try out for some, I'd say he's a project.

He is having one of the most productive years in the state at RB, and has the ability to play offense and defense. I can't speak to this kid in particular, but in recruiting terms, thats called an ATHLETE. In football terms, that's called a PLAYER.

You are making presumptuous assumptions. All we know is that AG offered him early, and he's having a great year. Let's see how this plays out, but to throw a kid and a staff under the bus based on fandom internet assumptions, well, that's what Gators are for.

Because you've never thrown kids and coaches under the bus? Still waiting for you to show that evidence Meyer paid a 'certain' recruit and you knew for a fact. Go on, show us it wasn't an assumption or flat out lie by the biggest hypocritical chick on this board.

1. Gators aren't human:-), let alone kids. If you want to get stroked, might I suggest a UF board?

2. Are you not able to converse like a grown, educated adult without the Internet name calling?

3. I have no idea what you are talking about, who you are, or if we've ever conversed in the past. The fact that you would remember specific details of a conversation you had with someone's avatar, from what I assume was years ago, is kind of scary.

4. Meyer's a dirty scumbag. He did you raw and dirty. I'd say you're the only Gator left who would defend him. But that's cool.

The point here is he is having another great year at a low level school. They have another kid who is not rated and worthy of MAC schools transfer in and now he is having a great year at this lower level. Jerimiah Sams is now the leading rusher on this team..Ray is 2nd. Miami does NOT have scholly's for kids that dont have a position. He's too small for RB, too slow for safety... Tell me the last kid we brought in that came in with no planning for a position?

Why do you care what another kid is doing, if Ray is balling out? You're looking to deride him. I don't get it. Plenty of kids from small schools end up in the NFL. Especially in Florida where there
is so much talent.

As usual this debate sucks. Its sucked for a long time and will continue to suck until he plays here.

Its Ray Lewis' kid. That is all.

Actually the other RB on Lake Mary Prep is having one of the most productive years in the State. Ray is the number 2 RB on this 2A Team. As far as Athlete...we dont know....his 40 is based on a hand held time they have promoted...not a real 40 time.

According to MaxPreps RLIII has:

36 carries 622 yards

J.Sams

66 carries 932 yards

So it appears he is the 2nd back and that they play unreal crappy competition because they are both averaging 14+ ypc.

At the very least, he will be better than thompkins who has eaten up a spot for FIVE years without doing nothing

(((YAWN)))

Still a whiny, deflecting, girl. No one remembers you from an avatar, you've just demonstrated consistently to be the biggest ***** on boards you happen to post. You stand out in the way alone. Congrats.

Good to hear from you, buddy. Hope all is well.

Nobody is crapping on Ray Lewis' kid. He's just not a good enough scholarship to warrant a scholarship. We'll just have to revisit this discussion in February, because I'm sure the whole story will come out then.

Thats just not true. This and similar threads on this and other boards have been nothing other than forums for folks to crap on this kid, pointlessly and incessently, and if you don't see that, you're in denial. If you want to wait until Feb., great. That's all i've suggested. Save the carping til then, at least in this kid's case, considering no one even knows if he will take up a scholarship.

I dont think people are hating on this kid. In a perfect world We'd all LOVE to have Ray Lewis' kid on this team. However, this is not a perfect world. We are a rebuilding program that is facing sanctions in a year in which we have few scholarships to give out. Ive followed recruiting for quite a few years and after watching this kids tape in my opinion he is not worth a scholarship all things considered.

ESF, do you truly believe that he is a UM level talent? Im speaking purely of his football abilities, nothing to do with who is father is.
Maybe you should reread the thread. The problem here is you don't have any basis for assuming the kid will even take a scholarship, let alone why, and yet you're here with a bunch of other whiners ****ting on him, just in case he does.

As for whether he's a UM talent, i comment when i have a chance to watch kids and understand what they bring. I havent here. I doubt everyone who claims he isnt, however, knows what they're talking about. A few might. Most, probably are just repeating wht they've heard.

In terms of what it means to have 'UM talent,' you have to understand the role AG has in mind for him. AG has been clear he wants ditch diggers, not just chest pounders. So pretending you can judge every recruit against the same hypothetical standard just reduces to a false argument. Maybe you disagree with Golden. If so, bash him, not Lwis's kid, who you have no basis for even whining about.
