What Coaches are getting FIRED today??????

There has to be changes with D staff and I’d expect it. There’s problems in the defensive coaches room and the product shows. I’m thankful I won’t have to watch that unit play anymore this year.

It’s so weird. Last year defense was solid but you also had 2 guys on the back end who were drafted. This year defense had plenty of talent, especially in the front 7. But if you have alignment problems at this level there needs to be firing. I also don’t think Guidry brings anything to recruiting right? If we’re spending this type of money I want a solid DC and elite recruiter. Mario is all about stacking talent. Can’t have two coordinators who are not aces in that field I think.

Because we'd have won 12 games if we'd have fielded a competent D.

Is the problem that each unit is running a completely different defense? Because that's about the only thing that would make sense.

The DLine thinks we're running a 3-4 and the LBs think we're running a 4-2-5.

That would explain why nobody sets the edge.

Everyone needs to be on the same page. Same as the atrocious offense a couple years ago. Sometimes it’s obvious there’s issues in a staff room.

It’s honestly kind of amazing a head coach as experienced as Mario has managed to put together two completely dysfunctional staffs in three years. But, nah I’m sure he’ll get this next one right…
