What are you going to miss most of the Golden era?

He was a great ambassador for the program with the media and helped us survive the cloud when this thing couldve crumbled but I won't miss any of the on field product.

I'm going to miss 250-260 pounds defensive ends being flexed out asked to cover wr's in the slot.

I'm going to miss punting from the oppositions 40 yard line and subsequently going for it on YOUR OWN 40 a quarter later.

And most of all...I'm going to miss seeing COVER 3 on every down.

He definitely was creative and I think he loved the brand

The first year of recruiting he sent every top athlete at the box
That state Be U-nique or something like that
The YouTube

All the media out take comments
Like : are we not suppose to be beat Alabama
We don't need to have an inferiority complex

He definitely was a leader just needs to get his X's and O's down packed

His accountability

In all honesty I am very appreciative for a few things he brought here. First and foremost was the complete 180 he did from Shannon. He encouraged, **** BEGGED the former players to come back. ****, for some people new to the program, that was a HUGE line in the sand.

Also giving us more access to the team and players.....man that was brutal during the time before Golden.

Golden has a lot going for him and it wouldn't surprise me if he is a very successful coach in the future....but I wash my hands of the whole thing.

I think he will be a very successful hire for PSU.. He just ended up being the wrong fit for Miami. Wish him well.

I'm gonna miss NFL, huge linemen getting blown off the LOS by Wake Forest. I'm going to miss being TOTALLY outrecruited by FSU. I could go on and on.

I'm going to miss his camp improvements, overhaul and evaluations.

I'm going to miss the way he represented the brand to the media.

I'm going to miss the way he brought back the tradition of Miami, cared about the former players.

I'm going to miss re-introducing the program to certain schools in the area.

Unfortunately, none of these things were on-field, and THAT I won't miss.

Good luck Al Golden, you came in at the right time for the program, and you just might be leaving at the right time as well.
