What are you going to miss most of the Golden era?

Beating the gator, being 7 - 0, and the one week and first half of the nole game feeling that we might actually be back. Sure it was koolaide, but much like the fun of a good binge, it sure felt good while it lasted. As you might expect, the hangover sucks. But for that flitting moment it looked like it just might happen.

Nothing. Bad coaching, bad selection of coaches, the HS coaches that matter hate him, lack of development,

I'll miss losing to London, finishing 3rd-5th in the Coastal, and being blown out by any ranked team that shows up.

Fact is golden is a solid recruiter and face of Miami. However, his coaching skills and true understanding miami ball is lacking. I think most would agree that if the 2014 class sticks then he can go. Agree or disagree.

I am going to miss the recruits that are currently committed that jump ship and we sign the #24 ranked class in the nation.

I am going to miss the abominable defense that would have wasted the talent in this class for years to come.

Man, I'm gonna miss a lot!

Defenses ranked in the 100's.
Rushing attempts per game ranked in the 100's and rushing offense in the bottom half of college football.
The worst third down offense Miami has had since the mid-70's.
One win over a team with 8 wins or better, with wins coming against a combined record of 111-150*
Getting the doors blown off us in losses - lost by an average of 14.5ppg in losses. And, its gotten worse with time, 18.5ppg differential in losses over the past two years, 22.5ppg differential THIS YEAR...IN YEAR THREE!
Putting 40 front players in 30 fronts and watching the hilarity ensue.

So much to miss.

MEMORIES!

*Two of those wins coming against 9-3 and 8-3 Bethune-Cookman teams

He'll be the next butch or chizik if this class sticks

And then whenever the next coach gets criticized by our "fans". Those "fans" calling for golden to leave because he's supposedly terrible will claim that Golden should have never left because he stacked Miami and brought them back

The difference is Butch had success on the field. The year before Butch left we had 1 loss and should have went to the championship game over FSU considering we beat them and had the same record. Zook did not do that. Chizik fell apart as soon as Cam and Malzahn left.

Then Butch was doing it again at UNC. Chizik can't touch Butch.

If Al leaves here and the next guy wins big, Al will be our Ron Zook.
