Your guess is as good as mine. Just something is really really off this cycle. Weird and off and not in a good way.

Oh yeah I’m already planning for the change to the whale chart if he flips. What do you think about this as the graphic if there’s a Jones flip to FSU? I think we flip the whale.

And to show evenhandedness, yes slurpers, if we flip someone I will flip their whale as well and put the ✔️ over the❌

Yep, it could be our fault though. We could’ve interpreted the reports incorrectly.

When they said “Miami will take as many elite DLs this cycle, any that want in will have a spot”…

Technically they were right, just not many wanna come for pennies 😂

It's just the Miami curse. Kind of funny in a sick way.

We finally scrounged together the money (so they'd have you believe) for a head coach and it just so happens that his biggest strength/advantage (recruiting) is now 90% negated by other programs money (see Texas schools).

Also our one (yes one, don't let them lie to you) money man is either broke or going to prison.

Long live the 80's!

I doubt it’s pennies but whatever it is, it isn’t enough to get kids to choose us over some of these other places.

Slight exaggeration, but might as well be as it doesn’t appear that money is rolling over to others.

At this point I pray every time we miss that money is rolling to a reserve for J.Smith lol

I think I should add Rudolph to the whale chart. Right now it’ll show him as a ❌ but that could be temporary. @ssvir if we flip someone else’s whale, I think we need a chest pound graphic or something as well to show evenhandedness in the charting of the whale chart.

This has nothing to do with the player specifically, and this would obviously be a good add. I know the metrics of whale are subjective but a guy close to 300th composite, and outside the top 20 at their position isn’t a whale to me. I think that tag belongs to top tier in the position group, top 100 type recruits.

Agree. It does. We have some others in there who aren’t real whales either. There’s about 6-8 or so actual whales on our list.
