The old staff wouldn't of paid these kids any kind of attention after they committed. I even remember Randy hinting at how much of a burden it is being 'THE U' and differentiating which recruits were actually interested versus the ones looking for a free vacation... Golden is a relentless worker and its paying off.

Crawford is a decent player but let's not get too carried away with orange and green glasses.. Some of these comments just wreaks of homerism it almost laughable... So now on Sunday after Crawford commits you put your bid in to say Crawford is a 5 star.. Come on..

Ive been saying it all along jackhole. The point of the post is to discredit the star system all together. What makes Howard a 5 star and Crawford a 3 star in your opinion? Size? Crawford is bigger! Speed? Crawford is faster! Competition? Plant plays on national TV as much if not more than Miramar! Crawford had 100 catches to go along with his 7 pics over the last two seasons. Crawford has been the best player for two seasons on arguably the best program in the state. I have watched both players all season long (Im a Plant Alum) and believe me when I say it, there really is NO drop off between the two.

Well, right now I'm as happy as a puppy with two peters.

Crawford was apparently the equivalent of Grand Larceny - not belittling any other players - but an outstanding addition to what I believe is a fantastic class.

Crawford is definitely shorter than T.Howard and is definitely not his listed 5'11". Just look at the pic of all the visitors this weekend. You'll clearly see Crawford is by far the smallest guy there. That being said, I love the pickup
 
Love this pickup, love it. Hopefully he can grasp the scheme quickly and become an early contributor for us because it's going to be all hands on deck.

i'm not a huge scout guy, but they have him listed as 2 stars. what's so special about snagging him?

Because he is a DB! He also has good instincts and reaction. I personally would like to see more 6'2" DBs to combat these 6'3-6'5" type receivers

Bush is 6'1 and Howard is close to 6'0(If he comes) Hope looks to be legit 6 foot and I think Dortch is close. I think we have good size for them type of receivers.
