i'll check out his tape then. hadn't seen it yet, but i've been following his commitment situation. never realized he was only 2 stars though (but like i said earlier, i realize those rankings are mostly garbage anyways).

His tape is solid. He isnt an elite DB but he is very athletic and built solid. Some think he has plenty of ability to be a kick returner so he has plenty of speed. Switching from offense, Plant not being loaded with prospects etc lead to some kids slipping through the cracks, especially with FSU and UiF loading up on DBs and not recruiting him.

Its a similar type of commit as the Finnie one though they arent the same player or anything. He looks like a kid who is ready to play immediately even if he may not have an elite level ceiling. Thats what people are most excited about I think.

This is one of those kids, where, I think in three years, if he went elsewhere, we would have looked back and said "why didn't we recruit him!?!" He looks the mold of "one of those guys" that would not have been recruited the past ten years, but ended up being a good college player, that, when his name stumbled through the box scores, we wondered "da fug?"

Good get.

Another bridge mended by Golden. Remember a while back the coach at Plant was upset about how Randy treated Marve and wouldn't advise any of his player to go to UM

I live here in Tampa, and people are generally very high on this kid- great athlete, played offense before his senior year, great attitude, and isn't afrard. I think we're very fortunate to get this kid. Huge boost to the class. If he was truly 5'11/ 6', my guess is that he would be a legit 4*. That being said, we've all seen "smaller" CBs dominate in CFB year after year. Grat pickup.

Very well put.

how can anyone form a solid opinion about this kid who is supposedly going to play corner based on a one minute film of RB highlights against like 2 teams? sometimes people on this board dont really take things for what they are, you guys play the ultimate hype game. prove me wrong antonio...

There are more videos.

not trying to be a ****head, but what's so special about this kid? i know he was a GT commit that we stole, but why so much hype around him?

i'm not a huge scout guy, but they have him listed as 2 stars. what's so special about snagging him?

This is why you need to just take 2 minutes and watch his tape. I mean seriously.

Nice get. Good speed and a physical looking kid from a good program.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to JHallCanes again.

**** his tape, just watch the state title game! On the biggest stage against one of the state's best receivers he played lights out. It took a ******* sportscenter circus catch for Malcolm to even get his named called. "Big time players come up with big time plays in big time games".....or something like that.

ah, thanks. a lot of deep balls where he has to recover and ends up making a play. wonder how his coverage is on intermediate routes.
