Welcome to The U...

Just a hunch but if he goes to prep I don't see him ending up here

I'm with you on this. I think the staff sent him papers because there's a chance they can get him in this year. If he goes prep, the talent in that 2014 class may push him out. JMO..

Guys I'm telling you that this kid would benefit immensely from a prep year. He is playing against some of the worst competition that Va has to offer, and he is normally the only D1 prospect on the field. I'm not saying he isn't a good because he stood out on the field, but I think he would be better off playing a year of prep. He will have a huge adjustment period when he first gets to UM.

Seems like he would benefit from a year of Swasey and our coaches more than he will benefit a year at prep.
Redshirt him. We won't hear about him for 2 years then when he is 6'4" 225lbs of muscle flying down the field, everybody will be like...."Ah yeah. I remember when we picked him up late. Look at that stud now."

If he goes prep, he can still come in, in 2014 redshirt and be 6'4 225 as a rFR instead of a rSO.

Some seriously mean spirited **** in here against a kid who just signed with us. Not everyone comes from the same background or has the same support or opportunities. His mother cried when he signed because he will be the first in his family to attend college.

I see a lot of people spouting off who don't know **** about the kid.

Welcome to the :neonu: young man. We're happy to have you.

Lockley is also a standout basketball player averaging over 30 points a game and is a two-time all-state performer.
He is 6-4, 220 pounds and runs a 4.52 40yd..
The kid is literally athletic enough where you can plug him in anywhere on the field and he’s going to do better than most of the kids out there.
He is without a doubt under the radar.
