Might as well confirm the kid as a future superstar with all the negativity up in this thread - practically SCREAMS it....

He commits this time and people are butt hurt because its not a 2014 kid.

Guys I'm telling you that this kid would benefit immensely from a prep year. He is playing against some of the worst competition that Va has to offer, and he is normally the only D1 prospect on the field. I'm not saying he isn't a good because he stood out on the field, but I think he would be better off playing a year of prep. He will have a huge adjustment period when he first gets to UM.

Seems like he would benefit from a year of Swasey and our coaches more than he will benefit a year at prep.
Redshirt him. We won't hear about him for 2 years then when he is 6'4" 225lbs of muscle flying down the field, everybody will be like...."Ah yeah. I remember when we picked him up late. Look at that stud now."

I'm kinda on the fence because I agree with Brewer that a year at prep playing primarily at TE would be great for him... But I'd rather him get on campus now, I have a feeling this kid would blow up in prep and start getting more offers.
