I really think alot of ppl are discounting the rivalry factor here.
These games are rarely blowouts.
Reminder, we almost beat their best team in a decade last year with a true freshman qb.
These games are just ... different.
All logic and stats go out the window.

No one wants to hear this, but you’re right. However, how spoiled are we? We’ve been so bad on offense for so long. You’d think we’d be ok with scoring 36 and beating a rival by 22. It wasn’t as pretty as past games but I’ll definitely take it!!

One of what games? We won 36-14 against our rivals and their final TD was just a garbage time TD with 30 seconds left. Canes easily won this game against our rivals. Last season we went on the road with a true freshman Emory Williams and almost beat a 12-0 FSU team. FSU was always going to give us their best game and their best game was a 36-14 loss

Sucks when this is considered "one of those games". Just because Cam didn't throw for 400 and 4 tds doesn't mean this team didn't impose it's will. If anything, it proves we can leverage a side of our offense when the other is off.

This game was never as close as it seemed.
FSU sat in 2 high all game and conceded the run. Or maybe they thought they could defend both…
They got destroyed.

good win no doubt ... but you and i know we wanted to beat them boys in a spectacular fashion ... we invited the entire state of florida to the game for a reason ...
That was domination. Cam had an off day and we still had our way with them.

This is my takeaway.
As soon as I start to get mad at this game, I realize I’m mad cause we’ve been so spoiled with offense this season. But we just held a rival to 7 and beat them with zero worry to move to 8-0.
We’ve been a 7-5 team for as long as I can remember at this point. Can’t take 8-0 and a “boring” easy W against FSU for granted.
They’re so far from our level right now. We have much bigger fish to fry.
Oh, and **** FSU lol
cmon guys ... stop it ... we invited every recruit known to man cuz we wanted to curb stomp these dudes in a fashionable way ... if it was about imposing our will we're not going for two late in the game ...
