Apparently a Miami boosters jet is currently on its way from Oxford to Opa Locka.
Grain of salt, remember.
Ferman did say he was being interviewed after the game, lmao.
Nothing like coaching rumor SZN.

Lane I’ll let you **** my gf
I put DBC on it.Ferman did say he was being interviewed after the game, lmao.

Facts. To me it seems like we're gonna have to tickle Mario's balls, beg him and pay him a ton of money to come here. Whereas Lane wants to be here.
I like the concept, just don't think Lane has any track record of leaving things much better, save for FAU......but maybe he is doing that in Ole Miss now. I read the posts and i go back and forth.Exactly. 20 years of builders running the program into the ground. Give me someone who will build us back up and leave it in fantastic shape for the next guy.
Booster flying out of Opa Locka airport not toWhat's the significance of a booster flying to Opa Locka?

A booster's jet flying out of Oxford (with Kiffin on board) to Opa Locka - is the assumption. What's the significance of a booster flying to Opa Locka?
Perfect. Money is no object. Call Mrs. Soffer!Agreed. They should get Saban as DC too.
Orange Bowl is one of the playoff sites so they will probably get Sugar Bowl bid if I had to guess.
I don't think Kiffin wants anything to do with the SEC. He's not a country boy and doesn't mesh with that culture.Facts.
But I think some of that is the difference in their personalities. From those who know, Mario want sot settle someplace where he believes he can be successful for the long(er) term. Whereas Lane wants to win big and continue to move up the coaching ranks. Maybe UM is a destination job for him, or maybe it's just where he will be for 3-4 years.
Neither view is wrong but they create a different mentality as to how bad the coach wants the job.
Mario=prove to me UM that you have the finances for long term success
Lane=i can win now and continue to ascend, possibly back to the NFL, or to Bama when Saint Nick finally retires.
Dude you wrote leaves our program in "great shape" i think. Lets see but only FAU qualifies. Tennessee was nothing. Ole Miss is definitely trending that way. But Lane doesn't seem like he builds **** that lasts after him. He's the secret sauce. Its not building that lasts.Maybe? They just had their BEST regular season in program history lol. Tennessee also went 5-7 the year before he got there, his first season they went 7-6. Along with FAU, as you mentioned.
I’m not sure where Lane would go from Miami tbh. What colleges does he go too? Won’t be Alabama IMO. Saban will get a strong voice in who his successor is and I can’t see him picking Lane. Perhaps a scenario where Dabo goes to Bama and Clemson tries hiring Lane? ND isn’t hiring Lane. USC is off the table. He isn’t jumping to a LSU/TX type program if he has success at Miami and is paid well.Facts.

I assume he wants to get back to the NFL. But maybe it won‘t be for a few years. Lane just seems like a restless personality. But yes if the NFL means he won big at UM we will be happy to send him off.I’m not sure where Lane would go from Miami tbh. What colleges does he go too? Won’t be Alabama IMO. As for the NFL, that seems like a long shot to me. He is an unstable dude and I don’t know if he would get another shot. Urban and Rhule aren’t exactly helping the cause of hiring from the college ranks. I think Lane would **** near have to win a ring at Miami to get another shot at the NFL. If that happens, I’ll throw him a goodbye parade.
We can provide a destination job on a warm coast, with blue water.I don't think Kiffin wants anything to do with the SEC. He's not a country boy and doesn't mesh with that culture.
He's probably aiming for the NFL (or maybe not - they did burn him badly), but in College he's after a destination job on a warm coast somewhere.
