We just lost a game

It's crazy to me how many people are crying over a 1 loss season. Everyone is upset because we should have beat that team, but big picture, we're actually relevant again this season. I'll gladly take 2-3 loss per year over the **** we've watched for the last 20 years. At least 2-3 still keeps us in the picture and gives us something to build one. How we handle replacing Cam will say a lot about the direction of this program going forward.

No doubt. I’m not happy about this game but I’m also not even that mad because it’s been brewing for months

We have literally been the same team all year and it just kinda highlights how insane some of our wins have been

The staff and the concerns about the secondary coming out of camp were my main reasons for keeping my expectations in check. Then you add how bad we look on defense at usf and vt really put me in standby mode. I’m not making excuses for Mario and company but I just want people to realize that we had to be **** near perfect for this team to be undefeated, even with the schedule

You absolutely have to. When your HC doesn't bring much schematically and can't be part of the "fix" when things are going wrong, it still lies directly at his feet bc he's the boss. He does the hiring. He's involved in the game planning and roster management. Ultimately, he's responsible.
 
We keep talking about the CFP and I’ll tell you we’ve been raped on national TV over the last 2 decades so many times I’m not too sure any of the playoff teams wouldn’t do the same to this defense.I know we got Cam but these playoff teams will be bringing a decent defense with them and the offense isn’t going to just run up and down the field on them like we do the ACC teams.

I’m not sure I want us to make it to the playoffs only to get blasted by 40-45 in prime time again and have to listen to all the talking heads spew **** about how we had no business being there in the first place until our first game next year.

But I’m not sure I’ll have to worry about it cause I got a baaaaaad feeling Lashlee will be looking forward to hanging 50+ on this crap we run out there called a defense.

I keep seeing this. I know Mario has a bad timeout rep, and maybe that was a bad one.

But what did he see, has anyone said yet? I’m not white knighting, I honestly wonder. He was pretty animated.

To be fair, if they pulled a fake, caught us off guard and got the first—and Cam never gets the chance to do what he does—then he’s crucified for not seeing it and doing something. We had the ball with a chance to win, that’s not nothing.

Just don’t want to assume things because we’re ****ed off.
 
Our defense absolutely sucks, no pass rush at all when Barrow went down early. Baron has no discipline at all, he constantly blew contain on the QB. Right now our best player on defense is a true freshman (OJ). This is the perfect example of poor coaching by Guidry, we've regressed as the year has gone on. We have no physicality on the offensive line at all and Rivers should slide back to LT, Bell hasn't impressed. Minus Cam this team loses 3 or 4 games.

We lost to a team using a qb with zero arms and couldn’t stop them. The team literally knew the answer to the test by who was in shotgun yet they ran for 3 bills. Regardless if we were 6-3 or 9-0 this is pathetic. Another loss where we were the better and more talented team that was favored by around 10 points.

Good points, but the offense left 20+ points on the field, they had chances. Don’t get me wrong I’m not trying to make excuses for Guidry or the D. They played like complete retards and apparently don’t know how to set an edge, something we all learned playing pee wee football. And couldn’t stop the run when they only had about 3 forward passes all game.

He should have alerted the team during the initial stoppage. He shouldn't have had to take the time out.
 
I just don’t the understand the “look we lost. I told you we weren’t that good” almost like fans couldn’t wait for it to happen.

It’s year three. 9-1. Everything we want in front of us. It sucks. They need to look in the mirror, just like some fans.

Tbh the loss doesn’t bother me , seeing the same thing every week for a month bothers me. I wasn’t expecting a natty.
