we could land 6 Elite 4/5-star South Florida DB's in one class for #Storm18 (Title edited)

CB:
Blades
Jobe
Frierson
DJ Ivey
Then only accept an additional commitment from Samuel Jr, Surtain Jr, or Campbell.

S:
Gurvan Hall
Cajuan Smith
Randy Russell

You really think its possible Um recruits all those defensive backs in one class
That's what I wondering , how many can we really take ? I say 3 cbs and maybe 2 safeties and that's because we move one of our safeties to olb

Marquis Williams received his 4th star from Rivals & also got an offer from USF today.

The Trio of DB's from Coconut Creek are really good & way underrated imo.

We are going to be stacked in 2019 at pretty much all positions. When you look at the talent coming in. Mark Richt is out their at pee wee leagues giving out offers. He never had it This easy at UGA. Oh 20 mins this way i get these 3 studs, 4 studs 10 mins this way, oh wait 5 mins a way some underrated head bussa. Somebody put Al Golden, Shannon and Coker on trial all at once.

ok so now it's the year 2019.

what does our secondary depth chart look like?

you're gonna have a lot of talented kids not playing..

You mean like at Alabama, Ohio St, etc...?
Bama only takes wide receivers from SF.

Not entirely true. They just took Aaron Robinson. They took Shawn Burgess-Becker two years ago, and they took Eddie Jackson a few years ago.

They also took Ronnie Harrison from the state of FL.

I don't care if Russell is a 4.6/4.7 dude right now. He's the kind of kid that will go to Louisville and ball out.

That kind of local kid - intense football player and plays the game with tenacity - is a take, IMO.

Don't get cute and fancy going for all these 4-5 star kids. Sometimes you need to land the solid 3 star kid to balance them out.

I was thinking the same thing. Then come and knock some canes players out. He should be a 5 star for his attitude alone. He's trying to destroy people. I do not want that kid to go to Louisville. He'll set the tone in the secondary for sure.
Does anyone know what is the staff's interest in him?

Not only that, he's a carol city kid - hard nosed football players rarely bust from that school.

The nation’s No. 17 cornerback, Asante Samuel Jr. (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./St. Thomas Aquinas), said he has high interest in Florida State, Miami, Clemson, Ohio State and Michigan among his 37 verbal offers.

Samuel Jr. shared his thoughts on several of those options.

Miami: "They bring new energy to the program. They changed it around. We'll see how it goes."

Florida State: "The tradition. How they play. The guys they have out there."

Clemson: "I still hear from them a little bit. Not as much."

Ohio State: "The DBs they produce. They have a couple players from (my school) so I have to check it out."

Michigan: "How they've changed the program around so fast with coach (Jim) Harbaugh. Their defense has done a great job."

Is this still an instate battle between the Hurricanes and Seminoles?

"Kind of," Samuel Jr. said. "Yeah."

Samuel Jr. said he plans to visit all of those programs and more this offseason before making his college choice next summer.

The Crystal Ball reads 67-percent for Miami, 17-percent for Florida State and 17-percent for Ohio State.

Samuel Jr. is ranked as the nation's No. 21 prospect in Florida in the 2018 class by 247SportsComposite.

Samuel Jr. said he hopes to land offers from USC, Ole Miss and Florida.

He's visited Miami this fall.

Who do you think we land Liberty? I know it's early
Blades, Frierson, DJ Ivey, Hall & one of the two between Samuel Jr & Tyson Campbell... Don't think we'll keep Jobe.

We're also in a real good spot with Cameron Jonas & Nadab Joseph... I also think we'll eventually offer Tre Jackson at Southridge.

We need to offer Randy Russell, Stanley Garner, Miguel Edwards & Trenell Troutman (even though he's committed to Louisville), and it's probably a long shot, but I'd like to see us go after Tyreke Johnson more.

There will be a ton of 2018 DB's in Florida alone to field a class of 6, plus there's out of state kids from Georgia & Louisiana we could end up with too.

Yeah I know it's tough to project this far out, thanks for the info man, didn't know about a lot of these kids.

What do you think it will take to keep Jobe. He's one of my favorites, period.

Down payment on a house in Boca... lol

With him being an older kid he'll lose his eligibility & will have to spend his "Senior" year at a Prep school, which means his recruitment will be difficult to keep him here.

I know this question was posed in the Amari Carter thread. Could any of these 2018 guys be a true center fielder? Ball-hawking, lay the wood, Sean Taylor types. Any insight would be much appreciated!
