Watching the gator game

You guys should watch this penn state Syracuse game.
This kid Hackenberg from psu is the real deal.
He'd start over Driskell right now.

AbouttheU05 just stop...You were crownin Floridas Oline after 1 quarter..Second half they have 10 carries for 14 yards..Toledo is playing two freshman at D Line..just gracefully bow out.... Their Oline and DLine Look very average excpet for Ronald Powell. Theyve given up 3 sacks and Driskel fumbled two of them.. They dont look good

Ok time number 20, I'm not crowning anyone. It's automatic for most of you to avoid a legit conversation about it. Never said Florida was great, never said Miami would get blown out, but the truth is that Miami is the one trying to take the next step while Florida just finished an 11-1 season. There were mental miscues and an overall level of assertiveness that lacked against FAU to me. For time number twenty, they have the ability to play better and beat Florida, but anyone who thinks they are going to win missing opportunities and failing short yardage against a stout defense and ball control running game is high.

No your exact remarks were
Florida is controlling the line of scrimmage today against a better opponent then Miami did last night

When in reality Florida is playing a defense that lost 8 starters and starting two freshman on the d line and gave up 29 points a game last year. You crowned their OLine bruh

Didn't crown them, but they did handle the line on both sides of the ball better. Pass protection not as much but everyone knows they aren't good throwing the ball. Running the ball they did control the game better and defensively have proven how good they are well before Toledo. Miami's D looked vastly improved but Miami failed multiple times to convert short yardage runs and Morris also caught heat even forcing a couple very poor decisions. Given what a lot of that same d front did most of last year for UF, the short yardage running and inconsistent pass pro for Miami is a concern. Once again, Miami is the team that has more to prove out of these two whether you like it or not. Obviously both teams looked rusty this week but Miami is still the team that was 7-5 and carries more doubt. Never said they couldn't, they have the ability, but how they handle themselves with the opportunity will say a lot about this season.

this is an abortion of a thread .... did these people watch the same UF team I saw ? we did most of our damage in three quarters yesterday... was it perfect? no.. but a couple of catches by a true freshman wr and we would have 14 more on the board and the final. score looks much different.

Didn't say they didn't, but be real.........Florida's D is proven well before Toledo and Miami's isn't with FAU being the only body of work for this improved D. Again you just revert back to being defensive without acknowledging how tough this will be.

And that's one of the problems, better not miss those chances next week.

It's a Rivalry game.... what does next week being a tough match up have anything to do w/ you acting like a soft shouldered ***** in this thread?

You do know that FLorida is breaking in new Linebackers aside from Morrison... are they proven 2?

What about the safeties... is Cody Riggs proven?

No I just know they have to bring it in a big game, something they haven't done in a long time. You are just an ignorant **** with reading comprehension issues who seems to believe you are watching Miami 2001. It's not being a ***** to question a teams big game ability when they've failed in multiple opportunities, that's called being rational. ******* prove it and the doubt will go away, until then save the bull****. Don't deserve this nonsensical praise until they finally earn it, still waiting.

This is a classic example of somebody jumping the gun on a game after the first quarter. IT happens every year, but this guy is still trying to defend himself.FLoridas Dline looks stout but their oline looks average. They did not control the line of scrimmage on offense against a horrible defense who lost 8 starters last year.

They wore them down and ran at will as the game went along, also showing RB depth without their starter. They did this while shutting down an offense with skill position experience and a very good familiarity of the system. Typical ball control, not to mention they did it all of last year to an 11-1 record so save it. Lulz at jumping the gun.

Just like I'm sure you realize how much help a dominant proven D Line can help and athletic but experienced back 7. I know Miami has seen that before in their history. But yes lets continue to ignore what this current group of Miami players still need to prove.

Clearly, some our fans' balls still haven't dropped.

That and UF's kicker is liability for them. In a close game that's huge.

Will NEVER accept that we can't beat the gators - EVER. F slurping them and anyone who is. H3LL Shannon almost beat them in gainesville. We'll be ready.

Kicking issues are a very legit point, and one area I was pleasantly surprised with in Goudis. Hopefully he continues hitting with confidence.

Never said or thought Miami couldn't win, I know they have the ability to. They need to prove they are ready for the big stage again though.
