Watching the gator game

^^ LOL @ the greatness of Florida.... this guy.

lol you do know Florida lost last year to Louisville right?.... What did their defense prove then?

That they were still much better during the whole year lol. Wanna try again???

Lmaooo.... so a Florida team that always sucked on offense, best offensive weapon RB Mike Gilleslie is gone, and lost a lot of talent on defense to the NFL but they have already proved their "greatness" hilarious.

Quotation marks go over your head like the rest of the English language apparently. I'll spell it out to your 1st grade level reading ***..........The Quotation Marks represent your assumptions of my point, not what I'm actually saying. Keep deflecting the real issue why rambling on about nonsensical ****, comedy gold.

Are you a gator fan AboutTheU05? Nothing personal behind it, just asking. You being a gator fan would justify many of your post.

No, I'm not in the least. In fact, in the predictions thread I picked Miami 23-21 because I choose to believe that this team is finally ready to take the next step against my better judgment based on what I've seen. It's pathetic and *****made to accuse someone of being a Gator fan because they aren't as easily impressed with what they've seen lately from Miami. Regardless of someone's opinion the facts are that Florida went 11-2 in the toughest conference today while Miami is coming off 7-5 with embarrassing performances against K State and Notre Dame along with slowly dying against FSU.

It's not to say things aren't improving, I believe they are. I believe Golden is doing a great job and the program is on the right track. I also believe there is still a ton of work to do and last night still showed a lot of mental lapses, weaknesses at the point of attack, and overall lack of consistency that will cost this team w's against quality opponents if repeated. Downplay Florida due to hatred all you want but it doesn't change the fact that Miami will be measured by how they perform against this type of opponent, and recent performances in this scenario have been ugly. Lol, sorry if I'm not 100% sold yet but it is what it is.

Miami can beat Florida, Florida is by no means a juggernaut but their recent accomplishments aren't cannon fodder. With that said I'm not sold they'll play up to the moment, but I'm hopeful because they have the ability. It's still a growing phase to that next level, people shouldn't forget that.

No doubt, if I'm simply basing off what I've seen from both teams to this point Id pick Florida simply because I don't believe the OL asserted themselves the way they can and should. I was also disappointed with the passing game as a whole. For Miami to take the next step the D had to improve, which it's already showing, and the offense had to be the catalyst that controlled the game. This offense has that ability, it just left a lot to be desired last night.

You need some goddam Vagisil for that.

In fact, you need to buy it by the case.

You ******s seem **** bent on thinking this is about Florida's supposed greatness instead of Miami's painful mediocrity because you cant argue otherwise and it shows. This isn't, nor has it ever been about "the greatness of Florida" yet you have to downplay them cause you don't have a leg to stand on simply talking about what Miami has proven and what they need to do. I hope beyond reason Miami brings it next week so morons like you don't continue to embarrass yourselves and your team with complete nonsense and ignorant statements about things this program hasn't proven in years.

Read the rules of the board!!
You got something to say then say it but leave out the name calling..

U05 How you can make any true assessment off game 1 is totally ludicrous. The biggest improvement in any typical college football season is between game 1 and game 2. I have no idea what he have based off Friday night and gators don't know what they have based on Saturday. Are we to assume that Alabama is going to have a pathetic offense or VT a dominant defense after yesterday, we just don't know so sit back wait and enjoy the show instead of going on and on saying nothing concrete.

The fans that are skeptical are more realistic versus the ones that are overly optimistic. This team hasn't done anything to warrant people expecting wins versus Florida or other high ranked teams. I'll continue to pick the other team in these type of games until I am proven wrong. For me, the oline still looks weak as **** and can't pound it on any one. Who knows how much the D really improved? As long as we beat every unranked team on the schedule and play FSU and UF tough, even with close losses, I will be content with this season. FSU and UF are really the only clear cut better teams on the schedule. I think the team has potential to beat teams like these, but won't do it this year.

Miami was one of 17 teams with more than 300 rushing yards in Week 1.
Miami's 8.0 yards-per-carry average was sixth-best nationally in Week 1.
The 8.0 yards-per-carry was the best for any Miami team since Oct. 5, 2002 vs. UConn.

Lol, you should probably look in the mirror for that vagisil need with that defensive response.

Two explosive chunk plays from Duke and Waters will do that. The inability to get tough yards is still a worry.

Im still trynna figure out if you say a rival is good it makes u a fan of that team. To hate a team or dislike them is 1 thing but just because u do doesnt mean you cant say that they have a good team. FSU has had a good team for a like 3 years str8, I dislike the fk out of em but why stress yourself out saying they suck. You are what your record says u r period even if u like it or not. After watching UF yesterday they werent that impressive but gotta give them the edge because I just dont see SM as the elite guy people on here think he is. Also at the LOS they have the edge but can we win of course, its not like there Bama.

I am picking the GAYTes. Not because I think they are that good, moreso that I think we aren't. I was hoping for a stomping last night. Last years team could have won this game by a similar margin.

You sound like a ******.... Florida won 24-6....

Miami's defense shut FAU down, and if it wasnt for our own errors the game wouldve been closer to 60-6.

34-6 is a "stomping" dumb ninja.... FAU didnt keep Miami out of the endzone we did clown.

Last year's team couldnt get Bethune off the field troll.

How are they better at the LOS? They didn't even have a pass rush yesterday. We are *****ing about our OL. but their OL gave up three sacks to a team with a DL making their first career starts.

UF is at best the 5th best SEC team this year. Their OL is a mess, injuries galore. No weapons on the outside. Their defense is good but they don't have the fire power to run away from teams. They will play a lot of close games. I think this game could go either way. Of course we can't leave the points on the the field the way we did against FAU but I don't expect us too either. Morris will be better. The WRs will be better. Duke will be Duke. Love our chances against a UF team with a terrible offense.

LULZ at this gaytor. They've only played one game, and so have we. You're aware that college football rosters change pretty dramatically every year aren't you, gayt?
