Also feel we have at best stagnated as an academic institution under his leadership.

When Shalala retired, UM was on the verge of passing schools such as UMichigan, NYU and George Washington on the academic rankings. Today we sit behind not only UF, but freaking Georgia (!!!)[/QUOTE]
This is true. We were ranked as the #53 school in the nation! That's unacceptable. UM should never be ranked outside the top 40 schools in the nation. The 100million dollar donation from the Frosts will help with research and academic advancement in math and sciences so expect a rise in ranking.

100m isn’t that much of it’s gonna be spread out. Most of the academic schools ahead of Miami have much richer alumni based. Miami raises 100m and the others then turn around and raise 200m. It’s hard to compete.

Academic rankings are totally subjective and BS.

Still not sold on Fedora's offense. Looking through stats while he was at UNC and before. Also, not a huge fan of the crazy fast hurry up. Very interested to see how he recruits because he's never been to a prominent university and had access to recruits like he will here

LOL so u dont consider Florida and Oklahoma State prominent universities ...OKay
