Who was claiming credit? I don't care if I get credit or not. I'm just relaying info. If I get something I share it. It's recruiting for god sake. Some of you guys act like little kids. I didn't post this seeking self-gratification. I was just sharing. But it's people like u Ethnic who like to jump others **** when you disagree with them & then hold a grudge. Grow up! It's patently obvious from this thread that you are the bitter butthurt one. I don't give a **** either way, just commenting on your petulence because you called attention to it by flipping out on someone for doubting you. If you really don't care if you get credit or not, as you say, then restrain yourself from engaging in dumb battles. It's just a reality of message board porsting that if you hold yourself out as having inside info, and it turns out to be wrong, you're going to get criticized for it. If you can't handle that, don't post your info.

He turned it into a ****ing match, and you're keeping it going. The point is that folks who hold themselves out as having inside info and get things wrong are going to get criticized. They just need to know that. Right or not, that's how boards work everywhere. So therefore, the onus is really on them not to take the bait. But when they get ****y and start cursing at doubters, that's when you get this sort of thread.

I would just like to say that an email from someone that supposedly heard a coach say something about what another coach is saying/doing with KC McDermott is not factual information. You were passing along what you heard, which is all anyone can do and I don't fault you for it at all. But don't say you're defending yourself with facts.

McDermott likes ND but his heart is at UM and he will choose the canes after his ND visit. The kid is all about business and i wish other prospects would follow his lead.. Also he will probably be the best OL prospect UM landed since McKinnie. Seantrel fell to us after USC got hammered. He's better than Flowers.

I LOVE KC as a LT prospect. And I do agree he is up there among the most talented we have landed.

BUT, I don't know about the comment above. Flowers is pretty **** special. I have them around the same tier as HS prospects right now (top tier elite)

This. Flowers is as good a HS OT prospect as i've seen. People get too caught up in ratings, IMO. The other great recruit we brought in in that period was Orlando Franklin, who's tape was ridiculous. We misused him, but he's having a very good career in the League.

This. Flowers is as good a HS OT prospect as i've seen. People get too caught up in ratings, IMO. The other great recruit we brought in in that period was Orlando Franklin, who's tape was ridiculous. We misused him, but he's having a very good career in the League.

Orlando Franklin is mauling guys in the pro's...its crazy......I dint think his feet were as good as they were...but **** he is legit in the pro's.....

Flowers is that level or even better....my gf lil bro played ball with Flowers back in the day and at Krop.....dude said he always stayed after practice to do extra work....and thats big having an ol with a work ethic like that....

Flowers feet are big time...wait as he gets even stronger.....Flowers h as early round potential.

Yup. Franklin is a sick athlete. But LT wasnt his spot. He held it out of necessity unfortunately for us. He's a true mauler, which is what he gets to do in the pros.

He and Flowers are the two best OL prospects i've seen us bring in, based on tape. (And i'm on record before Flowers ever played a down for us as liking him slightly better than OF as a prospect.) I know Seantrel was higher ranked, but he had nothing on these two, IMO.

What's crazy is that obviously the amount of mandatory work demanded of a football player is significantly greater at the college level than at the HS level. But, I remember reading reports last offseason when Flowers was already enrolled at UM and was going through UTough and all the offseason training and he was still getting additional workout sessions in with his dad.

Dude is a relentless worker and plays with the demeanor you want all OL to have. Bunche is a nice tackle, but if he is starting over Flowers this fall, I will be VERY annoyed

I swear I remember some people *****ing that we were recruiting TOO MANY tackles and how quickly some forget about how we were forced to use Franklin, BWash, and Felciano in spots they shouldn't have been in.

Al has done a really nice job recruiting the interior of the OL so far and guys with versatility to play the outside, but we really need to lock down guys like KC since Flowers is absolutely in line to leave here in two years if he feels like it.

Agree with this, we are able to keep kids on the interior instead of forcing them to play T out of necessity. Also allows us to take a kid like S. Odagwu(sp) and redshirt and develop him. We can also start a kid like T. Darling at G if we feel he's better suited to the interior of the OL.

Darling feet are legit...that kid is going to be right outside at RT.....he is a wall out there.....

we might wanna look at the Martinez kid out of Tampa....The other STA lineman....and an out of state guy or two for the guard spot.
