I don't like bring bad news to the table but apparently ND has made this an official recruiting battle. I'm still waiting on the details but its looking like its going to be a fight now, smh.

UPDATE TO THE UPDATE:
KC has been letting Brian Kelly in his ear with all the negative recruiting. KC was starting to have some serious doubts. He's been talked off the ledge but we'd have to be very naive to think that pressure will subside. I was told prior to all this he would commit after the Spring but I'd naturally assume that may be up in the air now.

Brian Kelly is biggest hypocrite on the planet and the last person who should be negative recruiting. Look what this ***hole said a few years ago.

I've been on Rivals for a few years & Pete knows me. I don't care about credit for info. **** I'm not even the originator of this info. I was just sharing so everyone had a little insight. Isn't that why we all come to this board? Or is it just to have a safe haven of control in our life's & ***** with people... Hmmm makes me wonder. By the way "Cash" is short for Cashvillecane in reference to Nashville which is where I live & work. "Cash" referencing $6.2 Billion annually the music industry brings into Nashville. Yeah but it's also so ******* exciting haha that's why we're here on this forum... Partially.

Either way a big shout out to Cash I am so happy he brings his info to the site he is super knowledgeable and has great, reliable sources. We should be thanking him for the info he is bringing us directly from his head coaches mouth. In case some ppl didn't know, his head coach is in the know in terms of his recruiting process!! Crazy, right?!


Either way when I talked to Shane last week he seemed pretty confident he would end up a cane when all is said and done so that's what I'm gonna roll with. Hope it turns out to be true but we all know how cray and unpredictable recruiting really is. Thanks for the info Cash.

I understand it's recruiting, and that's why I take things with a grain of salt. However, when someone seems to be really far off about something as it seems like you were with Thomas, that causes me to question everything else that you say regarding recruiting. I know you mentioned above that you changed your thoughts on Thomas, and although I don't remember seeing your reversal of opinion, I don't doubt that you said it. However, that quote I posted was less than two weeks before NSD, and I think we can all agree in hindsight that that kid was gone before that point. With that said, I'm not going to follow you around and bash you. I basically jumped in this thread to fan the flames a bit. That's what I do from time to time. When someone makes definitive statements I always make a mental note to see how things turn out. With the Thomas situation, I did the same, and as a result, I now put less stock in what you say. Not because you were wrong, but because the info seemed to be so off base. Now I don't say that expecting you to actually give a **** (because I sure wouldn't if put in the same position), but I just wanted to express how I handle things.

Here's to your info on McDermott being just as off as your info on Thomas was. LOL
