I can't fathom a kid in his situation picking dreary South Bend over Miami where he can go deep sea fishing with his family and friends in his free time.
What does that one poster here say? If KC has brain one...
I hope this is the kind of stuff that pulls him here. Unfortunately, as far as we have come and as much as I hate to admit it, Notre Dame is still in a different class than us academically. Some people, myself included, hate on the recruits for talking about wanting to go to the SEC (Vandy excepted) or FSU for their academics. If he is thinking about his career after football, ND is a good bet.
Before I get lit up for making that comment, I worked with an office full of ND grads after I graduated from Miami. I hate ND, I hated working with ND people because they were insufferable (for many reasons), but they land good jobs in big cities. I think Miami is getting there as an alumni base, but not there yet.
Not saying he goes to ND. Just highlighting a reason he would consider it.
