uncle luke speaks

is uncle puke taking a slight at golden by calling him Goldie?? just a thought. you know Luke and his methodology. Luke, if he were a true Miami fan would learn to shut his mouth. Previous poster called him a front runner if that isn't the truth then i don't know what is. when blandito was here it was all roses and truffles for Luke but when "Goldie" got here it was how horrible things are at Miami. guess Luke doesn't understand what being a true cane is about. Big Al welcomed all alumnus back to the school to be part of its tradition and explained that family bond amongst players is what make :neonu:s different. Luke is only about one thing Himself. Luke could be a great spokesperson/gateway for Miami but chooses to bolster himself and his cronies.

There are three things that some Canes fan will always defend:

1. A former unnamed coach,

2. Uncle Luke, and

3. The Circus that is South Florida HS Football. Not the quality of talent, just the coaches, the parents and BS that goes along with that circus.

luke is that you? and turn off caps lock unless ur just always angry. times have changed and that bad boy image is something we dont need. what we need is talented football players not just mindless criminals and thugs. look at all that crap that UF gets now bc of their thuggery under meyer and still hasnt stopped under muschamp. the bad boy image looks great when u win and its swept under a rug, but when you start to lose it comes back to bite u in the *** and u end up losing control of ur football team. muschamp had problems w urbans guys and still having problems w his own guys.

...and still not a single example to defend his childish stance. BTW, JJ left to go to the NFL, as many top coaches do. Being "back" means one thing and one thing only, WINNING. If to you being "back" means being thuggish, then not only are you an *******, but you also know little about what the "U" is really about.

Depends on how you define "goon." We need players who will go all out on the playing field and the practice field, who is also a team-first player. Not a reckless idiot who's constantly in trouble. Figueroa is an animal on the field, but he's also football smart and a team player. If that's the kind of "goon" you are talking about, then great. Coker had lots of wild, uninhibited, undisciplined, "me first" goons at the end of his run. We all see how great that worked out.

Urban,Nick Saban and our good cane teams had a ton of goons on them. Figs is not a goon.

The only **** goon we had on our last national championship team was a corn fed white boy. Golden would have recruited every player on that team. You don't need goons. That's ridiculous. You need badasses with an indefatigable will to win. There is a huge distinction. Oh, and by the way, it appears Golden encourages "personality" much more than the former corch.
