Uncle Jethro in consideration for OU job

Golden gets credit for ALL GOOD THINGS

anything bad, chalk it up to the Defense coaches.

Give me the young, monster recruiter, west side rider. Dude will give us instant access to Cali's Finest

This guy is one of the best in the nation.

Can someone explain to me why our coaches are such hot commodities? especially considering we are only a 6 and 7 win program over the last 2 years. Meanwhile, a guy like Kirby Smart from Bama and Chavis from LSU still does not have a HC job.

Maybe it's because, unlike our dopey impatient fans, the rest of the world sees that Alshermond knows how to build a program including hiring assistants.

The entire college football world, outside of our fan base, considered our season last year to be borderline miraculous. Pretty obvious our coaching staff gets a lot of credit for that outside of this board.

I'm still in shock from the idiocy I witnessed last season on the Canes message board I was on. It's just now wearing off actually. Everyone had us winning 4 or 5 games and finishing 5th in the Coastal. Then, we go out and win the Coastal, and all I read from our idiot fans was how disappointing the season was and how Alshermond needs to quit talking and start winning immediately.

What do you expect from mopes and groupthink?

Is Patrick still at USF?

Also, people are way to quick to judge Jethro as a DL coach. I think its unfair to give him a final grade yet considering the talent and depth on the DL. We are rolling out Shayon Green as a starting DE for gods sake!

And he was one of, if not the leader in tackles this past season. Yup he sucks. SMDH. Negged

And how many sacks,TFL, forced fumbles, passes deflected (you know, just the meaningful DL stats)? Thanks. Good talk. Negged.

How many did the entire team have? The whole line under performed yet you single out the guy who makes the most tackles, solid argument.

Tosh is a young, energetic enigma. Dude has no sunshine, looks like a UFC fighter. Major connects on the West Coast, great young coach. Could develop into a D-Coord. He is only 26 I believe.

Why would he come here?

First off, I dont even think its a possibility. But, why would he come here? Our assistants are getting nabbed up by the NFL, getting offers at Bama, and getting upgrades in title (McDonald). I think thats a pretty good reason personally.

It's an EXAMPLE of the talent we have on the DL genius. I chose Shayon Green because IMO he is terrible (yes even if he led the last ranked defense in the country in tackles). What impact plays did he make for his position (sacks, TFLS, pressures, etc)? I can name alot of other ****** DL on our squad if you want. LULZ.

Anyways back to my original question before this thread got Hijacked: Is Patrick still at USF?

Better program and more money then Washington too. Better access to talent.

Tosh Lupoi left is alma mater to coach the Dub.

the only thing that would worry me if Lupoi would come here is if he can recruit here in SoFla, we know he can recruit Cali, im curious if he can have the same success here

I feel like this is the biggest year we would of needed Jethro. With us been recruiting Clark and Moten for awhile I'm sure they have a strong bond

Good luck to him if he goes.

The only guy that we MUST keep is Golden.

If he's here everything else will work itself out.
