UM vs FSU I: Predictions

38-17 them. Unfortunately our recent history suggests that we can't move the ball well against good defenses and cant stop good offenses. On the road we look like we're about equivalent to UNC. I think we'll play better than that but it would take A LOT of things coming together at once for us to win and I don't think it will all happen. We're building. Right now they are better.
 
all those come from behind last minute drives to win the game will be useful in this one.....cause thats how we're gonna win it! With seconds left and every FSU fan on their feet screaming at the top of their lungs, and then........silence. Canes 28-24

31-28 canes we bend but don't break , Winston makes a couple costly mistakes , after the win all the soft shoulder fans that picked the holes get negged
 
Funny, these posters predict a win and then lambast the team mercilessly on the game board when it struggles.

We are rebuilding and they have an elite QB. FSU 45 - Miami 17.

I do not mind losing this game, but I want to see us win out after this one!

So basically you think this team in incapable of playing a complete game and/or even our best can't beat their best?
 
This is a rivlary game with each player basically being recruited by each school. With most rivalries you can throw history and **** out the window. This game will be won in the trenches and I think ours are bigger, stronger, and better conditioned. This game is going to be a battle and a turnover is going to decide this game. I believe in our boys. We have the heart and have been battle tested. Gonna be a close one. Canes pull it out in a nail biter!

I disagree, look at the UF game. we came out swinging, landed a couple then shut it down for the rest of the game. We can't play scared, that's not going to win this game.

Our best definitely can't beat their best. It is not to far off in the future, possibly next year that we can go toe to toe with teams like this.

This game is never close... over before it started.. not even sure why they are playing it...

I think we win twice.
I think we'll win this game but if we don't I'm putting it on losing Dorsett at WR. We would definitely win the rematch when our best WR returns.

I'm one of those guys. I'm also the guy who offered in a post to take Miami over Florida straight up $100 a bet and nobody took the bait.
I also said we'd be 7-0 heading into FSU, when most of you said we'd have lost to Florida and probably UNC.

Canes pick off Winston 3 times, with Tracey having a monster game blanketing Greene.
Canes sack Winston 4 times and hurry him at least 6 more times. Chick with a sack, multiple tfl's and hurries after finally seeing some single blocking.

Duke 25 carries 125 yards 1 TD plus a big return.

Morris takes advantage of a crowded box and uses play action to shred the FSU secondary for 300+ and 4 td's.

Fsu starts fast, we start slow. Game is over in the first half. FSU will be ready to play, they're hot right now, and overall better.

If I was a FSU fan, anything less than a NC this year would be a failure. They're solid everywhere and have the hottest qb in the nation right now. Miami has very inconsistent play at qb, best deep threat wr out, and not much success at stopping the pass consistently.

UM goal should still be to win the costal this year and win a bowl game. Neither of those goals are eliminated in a loss.

I expect that after Miami wins Saturday night we won't see you on this board until before the ACCCG.
