Have any players outside of Shannon players been benched by Golden for bad performances???

Duke has always been on probation when it's comes to football. For anyone with blinders on who doesn't think our program is crap is lol
 
You can blame Coach D all you want..but when they are running plays right at you and you back up to tackle them or take horrible angles that is talent..that is the difference between us and real top 15 teams.....This is not even fun to watch... Morris is is morris he is missing players but he cant read a defense to save his ***...good luck in the nfl with that talent..

We need a perfect 30 min to win this game....

I have very little to no hope that we will have an answer for Duke's Offense in the 2nd half. I've resigned myself to the fact that this is just who we are on D - a bunch of heartless nobodies, just there to be dictated to
 
The lack of rush.....is scheme as well, not just talent u numb skulls. These guys are schooled to rush one gap which usually leaves them stoned by OL. No ripping or swimming allowed....if you know what that mean. There is a reason Golden and No D teams have low sack totals. Ours shot up after playing crappy teams.

So we'll be down by 8 after their first possession, gee this is fun. FML
 
Whatever D we have, is shot. We're getting blown off the ball by Duke. We'll have to outscore teams from here on out for the next three games. We're not stopping anyone. Morris could end up 42/54 for 435 yards, 4 TDs and we could lose.

You're really talking about Morris, we have sustained the **** ball. Duke had 4 drives or so, we forced one punt when the WR wide one dropped the ball. No D is a coward DC with No nuts

You have to ask yourself why the defense looks like they don't even want to be on the field.

They're playing for EVERYTHING and they look completely unenthused. Someone who's pounding that "the players all suck" drum PLEASE, PLEASE give me an explanation for that.

they look unenthused because they are consistently getting their **** pushed in. Not sure how looking enthused would help the team right now. Pretty sure most of the people on the bored would go ape**** on a dude if he pounded his chest a few times after stopping a guy 20 yards down the field.

They constantly get their **** pushed in because they're not any good at what they're being asked to do. I don't care what anyone on this board would do. I care that our players look worse than what they are.

I am just saying that yelling and pounding your chest and looking more 'enthused' to play defense isn't going to make these guys any more talented or more successful at what they are being asked to do.
 
How do you expect our players to be aggressive and play with any passion with this ***** conservative defensive playcalling and schemes?

What leads you to believe this is NOT on our players? Do you see any talent, do you see any effort, do you see any execution? Like seriously, enough with the schemes. When we can prove we have talented players and we still suck then blame whoever you want, but we don't have good players plain and simple.

The fact that I've seen squads - who would cry to have some of the guys who are on our 2nd or 3rd string play for them - play decently well against some of these opponents. Maybe not dominate. But, certainly not get rolled over.

If you can explain that, I'll very much appreciate it. Otherwise, this is not ALL on the players.

Lu, that is such a BS argument. What player on our 2 deep would other teams cry for? You are the ringleader of the orange and green colored talent evaluation. I don't give a **** what scheme you run...talent is SCARCE on our defense. Anyone who has played or coached football knows that regardless of scheme, if your players are more talented by as much as you proclaim, you will not get shredded week in and week out. Maybe you have a bad day here or there but TALENT wins...PERIOD. And we just don't have any on the defensive side of the ball.
