I'm done with Golden, Dorito and Coley.

Thanks, Shalala

If we don't come back in the second half, fire these clowns immediately.

For those of you who think this is mostly on the players, do you really believe we'd have this kind of defensive results if Bud Foster were calling the scheme and plays? I sure don't.

What leads you to believe this is NOT on our players? Do you see any talent, do you see any effort, do you see any execution? Like seriously, enough with the schemes. When we can prove we have talented players and we still suck then blame whoever you want, but we don't have good players plain and simple.

THIS ISNT ****IG COACHING ANYMORE OUR LINE IS SO ****ING BAD

You have to ask yourself why the defense looks like they don't even want to be on the field.

They're playing for EVERYTHING and they look completely unenthused. Someone who's pounding that "the players all suck" drum PLEASE, PLEASE give me an explanation for that.

Thanks in advance.

they look unenthused because they are consistently getting their **** pushed in. Not sure how looking enthused would help the team right now. Pretty sure most of the people on the bored would go ape**** on a dude if he pounded his chest a few times after stopping a guy 20 yards down the field.

They constantly get their **** pushed in because they're not any good at what they're being asked to do. I don't care what anyone on this board would do. I care that our players look worse than what they are.

its so simple what duke is runing they cant throw the ball what is the defense thinking

The scheme is making the players look worst. Sorry there is not freaking excuse for NO D continue to have 4 guys in the box against a team that is only trying to run or throw short passes. F that bullshhh about offense, and young and no talent. How about you bring everybody up and make them beat you. Nope, give the edge every play by crashing the slow *** DEs we have on the field. Dno needs to go now. Duke is not better than us, just way way better coached

If this quit job with our Coastal hopes miraculously alive again doesn't make someone at UM stand up and tell Corch Al that something's got to be done with that defense, then this whole program is a **** pile.

Im in the middle of deployment and I can honestly say I would rather be at work than watch this second half.

The fact that I've seen squads - who would cry to have some of the guys who are on our 2nd or 3rd string play for them - play decently well against some of these opponents. Maybe not dominate. But, certainly not get rolled over.

If you can explain that, I'll very much appreciate it. Otherwise, this is not ALL on the players.

But I thought all of those defensive players who got their asses kicked last year were better this year?

lol this isn't NCAA 14 where you can get better simply by having another birthday. The upperclassman on this team simply are not great football players. Some are borderline good football players but that is as far as it goes. I don't care if Bill Belichick came in as HC, this group of kids is not going to become all americans. Most of these kids reached their ceilings. Unfortunately, the reality is that those ceilings equate to a slightly above average football team

I agree with what your saying but when your DB's are 12 yards off the line of scrimmage, you are basically giving up 8 yards on every play. The last 2 games we played the QB's we something like 13 INT's and we make them look like they are the next Aaron Rodgers. It takes no intelligence to understand how to beat a zone on every play.

I haven't commented much on this the past week because I just didn't want to deal with the complete meltdown of this board. But the amount of times that this sentiment is just parroted over and over is ridiculous. Go back and watch the first half again and see how many times the DBs are that far off the ball. It is exponentially less than you think. Everyone also spews that we only run this one play that is called 'soft *** zone' when in reality we run man all the time and we get beat nearly every time we put our guys in that position. It really doesnt matter a whole lot what the guy calls because our guys are not good enough to make plays. Our front four NEVER gets any pressure on the QB. We have subpar linebackers. If we had a pass rush maybe it could cover that up a little. No pass rush + awful line backers + terrible safety play = an inept defense. Our defense only ever looks halfway decent when the other team ***** up and turns the ball over. It has been like this all year. The only difference is back at the beginning of the year we were winning and that covered up a lot of the deficiencies to most people

Last week was more about the scheme with our linebackers constantly left to cover a WR across an enormous zone. Today we are simply getting pushed around and not making tackles.
