UM coaches hit the road: Day 1

Mom wants him out of Miami means the money is being offered to her from somewhere else.

Antonio Callaway was a Florida Gators lock.

Shawn Davis is better than Brini, Wilson, & Henderson. I hope we get him.

Miami is in a battle with UF for Davis right now. Recruiting is a marathon, not a sprint. Things change fast. Davis has "almost" committed to Miami twice since the cycle started in February. Long way to go.

Can't get in any trouble in Gainesville. Just ask the 30000 football players who have been arrested there in the last 5 years.

^^This is nothing but the truth. What is it with these kids and their mommas wanting their babies to leave them. And what is this about Amari???? What is the deal...if these kids stay are they going to get gunned down? or they just ain't getting gunned down RIGHT NOW. What happened to the Melvin Bratton's that said, "Let's stay home and put on for the home team". ****, last time I looked Miami is a helleva lot prettier than Hogtown or the trailerhassee, and I don't even want to talk about Columbus OH, cuz I been there and it's ugly. Ugly as ****. end rant sorry/

But we got too many moms down here who don't want their kids around. Then, the ones who love UM don't have any pull with their own kids. Bad moms.

Careful, people love dodging that 5 ton elephant in the room around here...lmao. Tons of kids from Compton, LB, Watts and Inglewood attend USC with no issues from their parents, but Miami is just soooo different for some reason?!?!

There are legitimate situations where a kid should go away for school for sure, but when MOST of the best seemingly have that issue?!?! hmmmm.

+1 you can make an argument that all those neighborhoods are worse than a lot of Miami neighborhoods, and USC still keeps their talent home even when they're losing...
 
Asked my friend at DFBHS if UM coaches were there today. "Could be! There were 5 or six coach here today but I was too busy to find out who they were. We did just get Jerry's ACT scores and they were quite good so he's ready to go!"

People that think it doesn't happen are so naive. I know a few players at UT that tell me they don't get paid, but while they live in the shtty dorms, drive the same car they had in HS, can't eat out, don't have money to do anything etc.. they have told me players never tell them they are getting paid, but when they live off campus in a brand new condo, drive a 2014 camaro, and eat out every meal of the day and act shady all of the time.. its pretty obvious.

One case a guy I know read a story about someone on UT's team in his hometown's local newspaper when he signed to UT it was about how he lived with his grandmother his entire life because his mom worked 3 jobs and didn't have time to raise him... Then a few months later he enrolls at UT and plays football. Now his mom is retired, shows up to every game, and drives a Benz.

Or does his own mom just not like him lmao? I get that she might want him to get out and experience something new... but Gainesville isn't broadening your horizons much.
