UM coaches hit the road: Day 1

Be interesting to see if Richt offers another 4.9 WR and continues crying about our current lack of speed at WR.

He's in broward

Probably going after Marco Wilson.. and then he needs to see Henderson, Davis, Brini.... getting CBs locked up!

Davis aint coming, he hasnt shown much

Given how he almost committed, this is crazy
he's not wrong though, ever since he's gotten that Florida offer he hasn't been seen...he did call UF his dream school so I'm shocked everyone is so surprised

Seems like Florida will get Davis and Gamble from the Ridge.... ill watch out for Thompson too... i dnt think our staff that big on him like others

Davis backed down from committing to Miami on March 8th. That was the commitment CJ Henderson was alluding to that day.

Mom wants him out of Miami, he likes Miami. I was told "only thing holding him back from committing to Miami has been his mom"

Apparently a decision is coming in the summer, he's also working on enrolling early. Heard a rumor he "silent-committed" to UF, when he visited with Gamble & Henderson. If it's true or not, remains to be seen.

Kids throw around the dream school and dream offer line all the time. Would you be happy to know this kid was begging Miami to offer him at the South Florida Shootout last year? If dream school meant anything, Antonio Callaway would have been a cane, he was throwing up the U 24/7 with Cedrick Wright & Dionte Mullins in little league all the time. It doesn't mean anything.

Miami is in a battle with UF for Davis right now. Recruiting is a marathon, not a sprint. Things change fast. Davis has "almost" committed to Miami twice since the cycle started in February. Long way to go.

Wells Dusenberry @dusereport:

#Miami stopped by Olympic Heights as well. #Canes showing interest in '18 DE's Chris Dascher & Sebastian Bruno. @OHLionsFB

Thanks for clarifying because SDavis has been a weird situation seeing that all signs pointed to him loving UM and was just waiting to pull the trigger. ****..Long way to go but still..

I love the attention to home base SOFL with 4 coaches calling on the locals. Coach Kool calling on a popular recruiting stop, IMG. Intuition tells me Shawn Davis not coming because all the positive reasons for his coming don't seem to be a factor. Still lots of time and a season remaining. I'm hoping they in hard on Wright, Brini, Davis and Wilson. **** shame UM not a lock for so many locals we need! I still trust these cats will get it done and bring home a top 10 class. Brunswick, Ga just up the road from Jax, Hartley needs to go ahead and get a commitment from DJ Dallas.

Mom wants him out of Miami? Is he just in trouble like Dalvin Cook was rumored to be in (which I never believed honestly) and needs to leave the city for his own safety? Or does his own mom just not like him lmao? I get that she might want him to get out and experience something new... but Gainesville isn't broadening your horizons much.

That almost commiting thing never works for us, I definitely see Davis being a Gator

I've heard (from friends of mine/his) that Amari Cooper was in a similar situation...he got out of Miami for his own safety.
