Very solid hire. Now hopefully we can stop recruiting these 3* “Diamond in the rough kids” and he can actually develop some of these kids like Huff, Brooks, etc.

I disagree completely. Hopefully we can recruit well evaluated good LB prospects no matter what stars they have. Huff and Brooks were athletes with little LB experience or demonstrated instincts, and it shows. They are the ‘diamond in the rough’ kids, despite you thinking otherwise because they had 4 stars. We don’t need more hope for development, we need guys who fit the position.

I could be wrong, but Patke is listed as ST Coordinator and Striker, I think maybe in a 4-2-5 BOTH backers are considered "inside" it seems silly that we bring in TWill to coach only one guy while Patke has an OLB, a striker, and ST.
