I explained this before the season....you can piece a championship team together with talented 4* or 5* players from each class....along with developed 3* talent.... 2009 bama team had several 3* players starting......this Miami team looks very similar..IMO

Nah this team is the 2012 Ohio State Buckeyes. Only different is we'll play in the postseason. Check their scores they are extremely similar it aint even funny.

Evaluation is everything. Every year there are 3 star guys who are better players than some of the 5 star guys. And there are some 5 star guys who are deserving of their lofty 5 star ranking.

Most important of aspect of building a championship program is the ability to evaluate talent and to be able to tell which lower rated guys will be better players than higher rated guys and which higher rated guys can actually play.

He was way dumber than I thought.

Bandy will set a great example for the DBs coming in this year.

If we win number 6 these threads are irrelevant. I’m here for the healthy conversation but the true recruiter here is winning. And we are finding ways to do it because the kids fully trust the process and culture.

I mean Al Golden was a terrible stain on our program but Golden was fired a year and quarter before Bandy could sign....

Been saying this for years. You don't always have to get the 5 star guys ....just be good enough in your evils to get guys that will project well every year and you'll be fine. Butch Davis did with guys like Reggie Wayne, moss and Ed reed.

This is in no way realistic in 2017. If you thought those guys were diamonds in the rough, you better believe there are far less of them. The numbers speak for themselves in that you NEED to recruit highly ranked kids to have continued success. While the “evaluators” on these sites are not “professionals” they sure as **** have figured out a better way of projecting players than they used to.

Of course you need to recruit highly ranked kids and kids are still breaking out or doing better than they were projected even now. Your post is pretty silly really.

Speaks with Bama coach daily and has gr at relationship with him.

Spoke with Richt and Rumph before game Friday.

Will watch games Saturday.

Won't talk visits till after state title game.

These Heritage kids are pivotal for us. Like the rest of you, I am sick and tired of the best players from Heritage and St Thomas leaving and killing it elsewhere. Lock it down CMR.
