More and more smoke that he's going to UT.
Oh STFU tenn fan
Ya'll getting played. Most of the posters making negative comments are not Tennessee fans. LMAO
What's the name of the vol board? I'd love to see what those Hicks talk about
I agree ..Hope he sticks but either way, not worried about one CB recruit. Miami is and always has been one coach away from dominating and there is no shortage of talented DBs in our backyard every year.
Tennessee, unfortunately for them, is stuck in the middle of the SEC now and they've already exhausted most of their boosters with nothing to show for it.
They are slightly better than Kentucky but worlds away from Bama, LSU and Florida.
Unless they are prepared to go full Ole Mi$$, they wont be doing much in the next four to five years.

+1, I definitely would not be happy losing byrd, but you have to put each recruitment in perspective. The only thing helping TN in this situation is Larry Scott not his room mate. They were fortunate that Larry already had a relationship with the young man. Otherwise he wouldn't even visited. Let's hope the kid makes the best decision and sticks with Miami. Better depth cart, easier for his family to see him, and be a part of something special that is about to take place.
Mr Quarterman, you were pretty confident that Byrd would stick last week. What has changed? Are you basing your opinion off of what you've read off here or something else you heard.
He Shaq and AR15 chat from time to time and the conversation has changedI agree ..Hope he sticks but either way, not worried about one CB recruit. Miami is and always has been one coach away from dominating and there is no shortage of talented DBs in our backyard every year.

I've been a 'canes fan since I can remember but I do not consider myself a homer. I hope Tyler chooses us, but some of the comments in this thread seem very disrespectful to Tyler BYRD.
The best, right or wise decision is whatever decision Tyler decides.
Miami hasn't been good in a long while. Tennessee is ranked in the top 5 next year on some rankings. Obviously the better choice right? Pre-season rankings don't mean much.
His mother and girlfriend are for Miami. Obviously the better choice right? Everyone of a certain age knows it's always a wrong move to choose a school based on a girl and you have to get out from under Mom's apron at some point right?
Tennessee has more wins, a better winning percentage and they are in the top 12 programs of all time, Miami isn't in the top 70, so Tennessee is obviously the better choice right? Tradition and being a blue blood doesn't guarantee you any wins.
Tennessee has to play Alabama twice next year to get to the Playoffs, so obviously Miami is the better choice right? If Clemson was able to play Alabama twice, then we might have a different champion.
The SEC is the NFL minor leagues so Tennessee is the best choice right? Randy Moss didn't even play in the FBS.
The point is that Tyler will make his decision and whatever choice he makes will be the right one.
Go 'canes!

I hope you are right.Byrd is all Cane!!!!!
Trust me Sir... Of course he had a good time in Tennessee he was surrounded by his family and his best friend. But trust me after he looks at his options he will realize Miami is the best place for him.
Or he'll realize Tennessee is the best place for him. Just because we see it one way doesn't mean he won't see it another. He's a player and I'd love to have him, but I hope he makes the right decision for him either way.
LMAO at the guy labeling him a douche if he switches this late. Did you label those who chose us at the last minute douches as well? Nah, I'm sure you didn't.
He's gonna look a little silly if he flips after throwing up the U at every opportunity at the UA game.
