I have that same feeling. I've had it the whole time. For some reason the visit to TN, regardless of rating in a 10 or what.. idc. I just think "cane" every time I see this kid.

Plus, what's he gonna say about the place if his "brother" is going there? Not like he'd say it was a 5 or anything negative and insult the kid that is actually going there.

Tennessee was exactly ONE GAME better than Miami in each of the last two years.
Miami has had a better record than Tennessee in previous 6 years, for a total of 12 games better during that span.
So.....(pause for effect)
If Miami has been "abysmal" in our "prior years", what does that make Tennessee if we have won 10 more games over the last 8 years?
One 9 win season does not qualify you for "trending up" status. Especially since the teams you beat during that 6-0 run to end the season had a combined record of 28-45.

Man, some of ya'll need to get out of the Golden years! Fact is of course his visit was a 10!! U don't think U-Tenn didn't throw the kitchen sink at the kid. But the other fact is, Miami been on him from day 1. U-Tenn trying to come late to the party. Aimes probably showed him a good time, girls probably showed him some "cookies." But his heart is w/ the U. I don't doubt he'll be in this class. Too much new peer pressure from our EE's who formed a true bond and brotherhood w him...don't think they're not in his ear, STILL. I fully expect us to close strong, pick up Richards again and a couple of pleasant surprise kids finishing in the top 10 in Richts first two months at the helm....then, let the true games begin next season. But fa real, stop whining like lil b's every time a kid tweet or re-post something. They want attention and finally Byrd is getting that attention after his stellar All American game.

I feel confident about Richards, Byrd and Williams. All Canes! No sauces jmo. Simmons, Davis and Harmon I think 2/3 we pull.

Losing Tyler Byrd will really be a blow.

Who thought 1 or 2 weeks ago that Sam Bruce would stay solid & Tyler Byrd would be shaky on his commitment?

My guess is its a lot of threads with titles that are along the lines of "my father", My mother", "My sister", "my cousin","my sisters dad" "uncle dad told me" "**** my last tooth is killing me"
 
I personally think we get the guys we should kinda expect to get. Byrd, Richards, basically keep the guys we have had. It the guys we just got on that I am unsure of. I think they were somewhat a "new staff turning over every rock" type of thing. And showing that they are going after kids even if they are committed to the bigger schools. Just as a public sign of "we comin" But at the end of the day I think we will only get the project type guys were chasing. The OL and DL guys that are not super highly rated. And then I think there might be a couple of silents, but that also feels like wishful thinking... but then I think am I "goldenized" or just being logical?
